Fantastic! Most of the accommodations here are standalone cottages, which makes for an amazing stay with exceptional views. There are many cute animals you can interact with, giving it a true secluded paradise feel. The cleanliness and service are top-notch. In the evening, we got to try making tsampa and butter tea ourselves. The guy who guided us was witty and fun, and even sang for us. Waking up the next morning, the heavy morning fog outside the window made it feel like another world, and it got even more breathtaking once the fog cleared. Highly recommended!

If there were a ten-star rating system, I'd give this hotel 10 stars! Chatting with the owner, there's a real understanding that those who know, know. The estate isn't about being perfectly manicured; it's about being natural and wild enough. The cattle, horses, and sheep eat heartily, which is incredibly therapeutic for us 'city dwellers' (a colloquial term for those who work hard in the city, like cattle and horses). The hotel rooms provide oxygen, so there's no need to worry about altitude sickness, though the underfloor heating could be a little stronger. The hotel food is exquisite and heartwarming, and the service is excellent. While there aren't many facilities, for tourists who are meant to be out and about exploring anyway, it's perfectly fine.

Yanan Valley, a luxury ranch B&B, boasts rustic charm with its original building materials of stone and wood. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, featuring a wabi-sabi minimalist design and private courtyards. Guests can enjoy bonfire baking, hearth-side fruit roasting, and feeding alpacas and goats. There's also a friendly big dog on-site. The ham biscuits at the cafe are delicious, and the service is excellent! Experience the unique charm of a wild villa!

The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, including airport transfers and laundry service. They were super responsive to messages in the group chat. The hotel itself is stunning, with lots of small animals and plenty of fun activities. They offer free breakfast, afternoon tea, and a goodnight dessert... And the mushroom foraging was a blast!

I first visited 3 years ago when the hotel was still under construction. I happened to stumble upon it again this time and decided on a whim to come to Shangri-La, and it turned out to be so worth it! The hotel is pet-friendly, breakfast and afternoon tea are included, and the à la carte dinner is reasonably priced with huge portions! The location and surroundings are the biggest highlights—there is a vast wetland right outside, absolutely breathtaking! The room has underfloor heating, so it wasn't cold at all at night! Truly super recommended!

Came here for a vacation with my boyfriend. They have the iconic Shangri-La prayer flags right here on-site, so you don't even need to go out to get amazing photos. The hotel also provides ******* outfits for photography—the one I'm wearing turned out so well! There are also lots of cute animals around the property like alpacas and sika deer, which are great fun. Especially the adorable little dogs that kept us company throughout our stay. All in all, it was a fantastic experience. Highly recommended!

The best accommodation of this trip! The hotel is in a fantastic location, feeling like a secluded paradise, and you can even feed animals and do crafts. The room was spotlessly clean with no strange odors, the bedding was soft, and the soundproofing was great. The staff were gentle and polite, check-in was efficient, and thoughtful touches were everywhere. Coming back to the room to relax after a busy day of sightseeing really enhanced our travel experience. Highly recommended to friends traveling this way!

I stayed here for two nights, and I was well taken care of from start to finish, it was particularly great! Holidays should be spent in places like this, away from the hustle and bustle, just zoning out, watching the sunrise and sunset, and playing with cats and dogs. Even though it's not in the city center, you don't have to worry about dining at all. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and a goodnight dessert – my stomach couldn't hold it all! The à la carte portions were also very generous, completely unlike some other hotels that rip you off. This place is just wonderful, with great service and beautiful scenery. Welcoming and sending off guests, folk experiences, light hiking, travel photography... everything I could think of and couldn't think of was provided. The service isn't limited by species either; both the human staff and animal staff are excellent. The humans are there to meet every request, and the animals provide emotional support. I'll definitely come back next time!

My friends and I stayed in a detached wooden cabin, and the twin room was an incredible experience. The biggest highlight for me was the floor-to-ceiling panoramic window in the room, which opened up to mountain pastures where yaks grazed leisurely. Every snapshot looked like a professional postcard. There were also various fun activities included with the stay, such as feeding baby deer and alpacas, and making butter tea. The lively bonfire party in the evening was truly relaxing and comforting. All-day heating in the room gave us a great sense of security. The estate is peaceful and secluded, offering a uniquely immersive experience.
