The host is an absolutely amazing, she made our stay such a great experience! The restaurant that she runs along side the hostel is delicious and reasonably priced! Great food, great views and outstanding service! We will be back again!

The owner is remarkably kind and truly made us feel at home. She speaks good English and mapped out perfect hikes for both days—from a gentle lower-path walk to the spectacular high path (with her son kindly providing taxi service to the trailhead!) . The location right in the middle of the gorge is pure magic. Watching the stars fill the sky right from our bedroom window was unforgettable. To top it off, every meal felt like a warm, delicious home-cooked treat—do not miss her homemade Chinese buns! She made all our logistics seamless, from arrival to booking our onward car to Shangri-La right from the front door. We fell so in love with their genuine hospitality that we immediately booked their other property in Shangri-La (Lake Tower Whisper Guest House) too. Highly recommended!

So in love with the hotel and service! Uncle and aunty are so kind and nice, they treat us like their children. The hotel also clean with the good view, everything is perfect ❤️

The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. It was so easy to fall asleep listening to the sound of the Tiger Leaping Gorge at night. Plus, the owner is incredibly nice and welcoming. I even slept in and they still warmed up breakfast for me! 🤣 I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

We had suchhhh a lovely time here even tho we stayed only for one night. Our hosts are so accommodating and lovely 🥰. The room we stayed in has such breathtaking view that we ended up spending the whole evening on the balcony! They also had option to send us directly to Shangri-La by car which is great when you are two girls travelling. Before we left, we had the best egg fried rice and vegetarian dry noodle. Could not have chosen a better place to stay for the night. Thank you!!! And hope to see you again some day!!

Revisiting this place, the proprietress's cooking is still top-notch! My husband even came to pick us up when we were too tired to walk. We stayed for 3 days to relax, and the proprietress fed us so well, haha! It's a shame we slept in until noon every day and didn't have time to check out the new spots at Tingtao Du. Coming to Lower Tiger Leaping Gorge was purely for the chance to eat at Zhuoma's 😍. It's a pity we can't hike the One-Line-Sky trail anymore; now we can only explore the Lower Gorge. The chicken! Delicious! The chicken soup completely blew us away. Who understands the joy of a piping hot pot of incredibly fresh chicken noodle soup and stir-fried yak meat after a stinky, late climb up to Walnut Garden?! The stir-fried yak meat with millet chili was so good, we couldn't stop raving about it. And I still prefer the sweet butter tea. A perfect two-day getaway to relax~

Most beautiful location in Tiger Leaping Gorge to stay. Spent ours on the balcony enjoying the view in the evening and the morning. You can enjoy the sound of the river below all night. It is a local ******* family business providing exceptionally friendly, high quality customer service. Their restaurant has plenty of items on the menu and open from the morning to the evening. If you hike the Tiger Leaping Gorge trail it is absolutely worth the extra 2 km to walk here along the road, on flat terrain. They also provide excellent transportation by private car up to Shangri La or Lijiang, including stopping at view points and points of interest if you wish. Tank you Dolma, Lhamo and Dawa!
