Pros:
The owner is very nice and will help you as much as possible. The hotel itself was once home to a local family and is set back away from all the noise of the main square. It’s still in the old city and close to places to eat, bars, etc.
Newly renovated rooms, bathroom, and shower. Everything is clean. There are heated blankets on the bed for when it’s cold.
Cons:
Hard mattress (it’s tolerable though). Bathrooms are apart so you need an umbrella to get there when it’s raining.
No lockers in the shared room and you can’t lock the door, so you have to carry all valuables with you. The hotel front door is left open, even when no one is there.
Suggestion:
If someone is staying in the hotel, leave the lights on in the courtyard and walkway so we aren’t coming back in the dark. That would greatly improve the experience.
