The service is impeccable. The food in the hotel is absolutely top notch, from breakfast, to bakery, to dinner, some of the best food I had during my trip in Lijiang, and Shangri-la It offers a private access to the monastery, and the hotel feels to embody the ******* spirit and tradition everywhere you look

One of the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed in with A class service and professionalism. Beautiful compound and property, and also staying true to ******* culture. Will definitely want to stay in other Songtsam properties in future cos of this amazing experience!

The best stay during my vacay in Shangri-la. Need to stay at least 2 nights in order to experience the activities in the hotel. The hotel is located near the Songtsam temple and the entrance ticket is provided.

Everything is tiptop!!! From the moments we reached Shangri-la by train, driver was waiting for us…fetch us to the hotel with the Defendar. The car was very very clean. All the facilities in the hotel was excellent! The architecture of the hotel is tibetian style. Many of the handcraft look nice. The view from the hotel can see the songtsam temple. High tea was provided, the egg tart taste delicious even it is winter. The breakfast had varities of food. The hotel included ticket to songtsam temple, even provided a free guide to explain while visiting the monastery. The shampoo and body lotion in the room was nice to used, especially in winter season. The skin feel very dry. (Hope that hotel would sell it online) The hotel area was very big, there are a lots of nice view to take photo. Even the hotel is big, they provide buggy car so you not need to walk a lot. All the staff was well trained, they served us like family. Very heart warming🥰 We would like to stay in Songtsam hotel again.

Great hotel slightly out of the main town area near Songstram Monastery. Hotel has all the amenities and is themed traditional ******* style. Staff were friendly and some could speak limited English. Food at the restaurants was excellent - we had both hot pot and Chinese. Overall a very nice hotel with a traditional ******* feel. Would recommend staying at this hotel if in Shangri-La.

In Shangri-La, encounter the leisurely time of Songzanlinka Shangri-La has always been the poetry and distance in my heart. This time, I finally took my family to this magical land and checked into Songzanlinka Hotel, starting an unforgettable journey. We followed the winding path, passed through the quiet little village, and arrived at Songzanlinka Hotel. As soon as we stepped into the hotel lobby, Bian Zong greeted us with half-squatting service, handed over steaming hot towels, dispelled the fatigue of the journey, and made us feel the warmth of home instantly. The room is the place I am most satisfied with. There is diffuse oxygen supply here, and the sofa can be easily made into a comfortable bed. It is just right for a family of four. Standing on the balcony, you can overlook the Songzanlin Temple from a distance. The solemn and solemn feeling makes people calm. Unexpectedly, the child had a little altitude sickness. Just when we were anxious, the hotel thoughtfully sent an oxygen inhaler. This meticulous care made us feel at ease in a strange place. In the morning, the hotel's breakfast was rich and varied, satisfying the taste of the whole family. Through the window, Songzanlin Temple in the distance was shrouded in morning mist, like a fairyland, sacred and mysterious. As night fell, we drove for more than 20 minutes to Dukezong Ancient Town. It was very lively there, everyone danced in a circle hand in hand, and laughter echoed in the night sky. Walking on the ancient stone road, the thousand-year history and culture blended with the modern lively atmosphere, making people feel like traveling through time and space. This trip to Shangri-La became more perfect because of Songzanlinka Hotel. It is not only a place to stay, but also a warm harbor on our journey. Beautiful Shangri-La, see you next time, I believe there will be more surprises waiting for us.

Staying at Songtsan Hotel is as good as ever. Whether it is food or activities, environment or guest rooms, the details are very well done. Every employee has a bright smile! It is indeed the Songtsan family, it feels like home

Overall it was OK, but some details were not satisfactory. - I checked in the next day. I called the front desk one afternoon in advance to make an appointment for the thangka experience the next day. The front desk said that the butler would add v later, and I could make an appointment then. When it was more than 9 o'clock in the evening of the same day, no one contacted me. I called the front desk again, and the reply I got was that the thangka for the next day could not be made because a large group of 12 people was fully booked. It was speechless and seriously affected my itinerary for the next day. I had already confirmed the itinerary for the next day with the driver, but I came to change it after more than 9 o'clock in the evening. - I caught a cold, so I called the front desk and asked for a cup of ginger tea. At first, they said they couldn't deliver it, but later they agreed to deliver it after I said I had a cold and felt uncomfortable.

The overall experience was very good, the ******* style was very beautiful, the room was clean, and the fruit was fresh. The afternoon tea was slightly inferior, but the breakfast was rich and delicious. I experienced the SPA, and the massage was very helpful for my altitude headache and fatigue. The yak hot pot dinner was delicious and worth experiencing.

It snowed heavily in Shangri-La on the day we arrived at the hotel, and it was extremely cold. The room was equipped with wall heating, and an oil heater was added to ensure the room temperature. As a local hotel, Songtsamlingka has very ethnic characteristics, beautiful houses, delicious food, and an excellent location, just behind the Songzanlin Temple. In the morning, a butler will take you to the Songzanlin Temple to worship Buddha and visit. The butler who took us was a very ******* guy, very knowledgeable and kind. I learned a lot from him. The most surprising hotel in the whole Yunnan trip! The service facilities and environment are impeccable! There are many kinds of hotel activities and restaurants. You can stay in the hotel without going out. It is also super convenient to go to Songzanlin Temple. There are also different angles in the hotel. There is also an Arc'teryx where you can buy clothes. The hotel is full of details. It is worth strolling slowly.
