The room was beautiful with a pleasant atmosphere. The staff promptly resolved the issue by changing the room quickly. It’s conveniently located near the high-speed train station, making travel easy.

The most satisfying stay in Yunnan, worth every penny. We have been upgrade to a bigger room with beautiful view and scenery. Everything is included such as pick up & drop off service. Free tibet costume experience with photoshoot. Free coffee at a famous Heiduo Cafe(located inside this hotel). Staff is super friendly, they even invited us in a wechat group for a better communication. We really enjoy staying here.

The place was beautiful! Staff was also very helpful and very accommodating. Room was clean. They gave us oxygen upon request when my husband was feeling the altitude sickness. The heater was complicated to understand, it was in the middle of the night so we didnt want to ask for help. The cafe was dirty, many cups around the end of the day. Cafe did not clean up after guests and only did it when it was closing time.

The view is SUPERB! So peaceful, gorgeous view from the room (esp if you book one of the wooden huts with unobstructed views like mine). See photos behind to have an idea of the layout of the place. The property is huge. They have other accomodations in the compound (hotel like) but i chose the wooden huts version as it is more unique. Special shoutout to the photoshoot team. The photos are super duper well taken and edited beautifully (great colours and natural human edits so I don't look an AI version). Here's the real deal. What you get for FREE: 1 costume + hat (fur or cowboy) + necklace but limited options and none of them was a good fit for my costume. 3 original photos, non edited (but slightly more washed out - i opted for the edited ones). What you need to PAY for: Hair and makeup and accesories 198r - i did my own messy style braids and makeup Original photos (after the 3 free ones) are 50r each. Top up (for the 3 free ones) to edited ones are 50r each. Edited photos (after the 3 free ones are 100r each). They did give me a discount for writing them into the review (not sure if they'll be happy that i mentioned all these in detail). Tips for the room: Beware though that the skylight does not open during summer and late spring/early autumn, as it supposedly gets too hot in the rooms and increases the risk of high altitude sickness for guests. I visited in late sep. Also, the heated floor gets REALLY hot. My suitcase was a metal one and all the items inside turned hot to the touch by morning. The room has no air conditioner, only a heating system, temperature can't be regulated - set at 31°c but it doesn't get so hot. Late sep (early autumn) it's 20+ in the day but drops to 8°c at night - i assume it'll be much colder in winter (with snow) and spring. Afternoon tea at the black bean cafe (pointed in the last photo) is really nothing special except for the view. I opted to sit outside my hut (after check out) instead as it was too crowded there. If you're considering the very expensive hotel next door (more than double the price of this), and i battled with the decision for a very long time, don't. You can actually walk over next door to that famous hotel, order a drink and walk the grounds for the animal experience.

The place is beautiful, easy to reach by didi. And most importantly the famous heidou cafe is part of the hotel. Was given complimentary coffees which we were very grateful for. The view is amazing, it was hot during the day but very cold by night. There’s also the orayer flags nearby with alpacas, sheeps and rabbits at the yard that you can play and take pictures with. The host was also nice.

Not thing to say much about this hotel. Every thing is beyond perfect, great location nice views, great service from staffs . Highly recommend 👍🏻
