Great family-run place! It had such nice design elements and everything in the room and hotel flows beautifully design wise whilst remaining practical (heating, humidifier & oxygen machine). Views of the prayer wheel & temple from our bedside wall to floor window and on the rooftop with location being topnotch without compromise for peace & quiet! We loved the special touches like finger tea, fruit at the front desk, delicious noodles made fresh to order for breakfast. The discount for the infamous Shangri La Zhaya Tusi banquet was also amazing and they gave us a ride there and back arranging everything for us! Great communication and super helpful — if I’m back in Shangri La I would definitely come here !

My daugter and i had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The owner and his staff was very friendly and we had no communications barrier at all...The room is clean and so spacious and keep us all warm during the winter. But rhe star of course will be their cats and the hero Kalee the dog..their so friendly and there always came to our room.

The place and surrounding areas are beautiful. The room is as per described and it was nice. The toilet seat and flooring was heated which was useful when temperature dropped at night. Mike and team were welcoming and friendly. Buffet breakfast was decent and they will help to cook noodles for you if you want them. For our last day, we requested for the drop off service to the airport in the morning and Mike helped us with it. Highly recommend this place to anyone intending to stay in Shangri-la despite it being away from shops.

A Warm Home in Shangri-La - Definitely Choose Wufan Shanjian! The luckiest choice of my trip to Shangri-La was definitely Wufan Shanjian Light Luxury Homestay, and the biggest surprise was meeting the owner couple, a local Tibetan pair. The simplicity and enthusiasm unique to Tibetans in them filled the entire journey with warmth. From the moment we landed, we were surrounded by their thoughtfulness: they not only took the initiative to pick us up at the high-speed railway station but also carefully reminded us not to rush to take a bath just after arriving on the plateau and to remember to turn on the oxygen concentrator at night. A family member traveling with us had a bit of altitude sickness, and the landlady Zhuoma immediately brought Coke and glucose to relieve the discomfort. In the evening, she specially brought warm yak milk and fresh grapes. Even the child kept saying that Aunt Zhuoma was as kind as family. The husband was simple and enthusiastic. When he saw that we had trouble parking, he immediately helped park the car without hesitation, so we didn't have to worry at all. When we wanted to find delicious skewers or plan the route around Napahai, they could always give the most authentic suggestions and even recommend reliable stores, which were more useful than the strategies we made. The environment of the homestay is impeccable. As a person with a bit of obsessive-compulsive disorder about cleanliness, the cleanliness here completely exceeded expectations - the rooms are bright and tidy, the bed sheets and quilt covers have no peculiar smell at all, and even the bathroom is cleaned spotlessly. The facilities are also very considerate, with full-house floor heating and smart devices. The oxygen concentrator by the bed can automatically adjust the oxygen concentration, completely solving the worry about sleeping on the plateau. What's more surprising is that the location is in the center of the ancient town, only a three-minute walk to the prayer wheel, making it very convenient for shopping and dining. During the few days staying here, I was moved by the details every day: free down jackets and umbrellas, pre-prepared moisturizing masks, hot breakfast in the morning, and even after leaving, when we found that we had forgotten something, the boss would carefully send it back. This kind of warmth that is not family but better than family made the beauty of Shangri-La more concrete. Next time I come, I will definitely stay here again!

We had a truly amazing experience in the hotel. Great hospitality, great view and great interior designs. Our two teenagers suffered from altitude sickness, but the hotel staff (esp Mr Dong Zhen Dong) took care of us with care and professionalism, making us feel like family. We had to cancel our scheduled outings due to our kids’ health, however the hotel surrounding itself is a wonderful scenic spot. Beautiful views with very instagrammable photo spots at the hotel. My kids loved the farm animals (sheep, horses and a white yak). We could also walk out to the lake where the animals were grazing and the birds were chilling. It was a truly national geographic moment for us. Star gazing at night from our balcony was a huge surprise too. In the evening we had a lovely family time chilling around the fireplace at their chic cafe. The entire place was so beautiful and comfortable. Their staff was very friendly and attentive too The hotel’s complimentary cool ride to the airport was a sweet end to our Yunnan trip. Thank you Muka Monor for an outstanding hotel experience!

LISIMAN Xinsu Yusiye Oxygen Supply Manor 丽思漫 心宿·穹庐四野供氧庄园 is a tranquil farmhouse resort offering breathtaking views. Our room was cozy, spacious and clean with a large window, modern amenities like oxygen machine, Dyson hairdryer, humidifier and Marshall speaker. We also have some farmyard fun feeding the animals, and enjoy complimentary coffee, tea and afternoon snacks - perfect for doing nothing. The staff went above and beyond, super friendly, warm and helpful, and made us feel welcome.

Our stay at this hotel in Shangri-La was truly the best experience we had in Yunnan. The views of 纳帕海 (Napahai Lake) were simply breathtaking — calm, expansive, and full of quiet beauty. Every morning, we woke up to a breathtaking sunrise—the soft golden light spilling across the lake, illuminating layers of mist over the water and painting the sky with pastel hues. From our window, we could see birds gracefully gliding over the lake, while horses and cows grazed peacefully in the nearby fields. The entire environment exuded serenity and peace, making it a perfect escape from the bustle of everyday life. The owner was warm and welcoming, instantly making us feel at home. There was also a friendly dog and a few cats/kittens that added a cozy and charming touch to our stay. The room was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with features like floor heating and in-room oxygen, which made acclimating to the altitude much easier. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and every dish cooked by the 厨房大姐 (the lady chef) was delicious and comforting. We left with wonderful memories and would love to come back again someday. The best hotel ever! I wish we stay longer but time is not on our side. The services is tiptop. Every staff in the hotel is very accommodating especially for us who dont speak Chinese. They help u with anything u need, shout out to our butler for being so wonderful. And they can pick u up from any station for FREE! they even have welcome drink for you. The view is to die for, even without the snow the view is spectacular, might come back when there is a snow. And yes i would 100% recommend anyone who wants to stay here. Everything is wonderful.

We had a very pleasant stay overall. The room was exactly as described: very clean, surprisingly large, and the floor heating in the main area was a welcome feature. The location is truly excellent—easy to find, a short distance from the ancient city, and incredibly convenient for taxis. Having a supermarket right downstairs and access to fantastic local restaurants was a huge plus. The only area for improvement is the bathroom temperature. As there is no heating element, it became quite cold during the night, which was a bit uncomfortable. Despite this, we would happily return for the great value and ideal location.

✨ Finally got some good sleep during my stay in Shangri-La. My biggest fear when coming here is altitude sickness and not being able to sleep well. This time, I chose Lismon Portman by Lake Napa, and I slept wonderfully for several days. The check-in was very comfortable. The hotel is right next to Yila Grassland, directly facing Shika Snow Mountain. When you open the window, you see cattle and sheep grazing – it's like living in a painting. The mattress was just the right firmness, and the duvet was fluffy and light. With a double vanity and separate wet/dry areas, two people could get ready in the morning without any hassle. The Dyson hairdryer was excellent, and the mini-fridge was stocked with complimentary snacks and drinks. 👨👩👧👦 In the afternoon, we went horseback riding around the lake for 30 minutes. The wind blowing across the grassland gave a wonderful sense of freedom. The butler service was very thoughtful; they even brought us sweet soup before bed. The hotel also offers many other rich experience programs that incorporate local culture, so you could easily stay for days and have a full itinerary. The snow mountain restaurant on the top floor is beautiful, the designer did a great job, and the food is also good. I recommend the breakfast Erkuai.
