I couldn't wait to share my experience after checking out; I truly felt like I got more than my money's worth. The complimentary offerings were genuinely useful, like horseback riding. When you're in the grasslands, you definitely want to ride a horse, and the hotel provided it for free, even taking us there. It was a real, extensive ride around the grasslands, not just a quick photo op. Riding felt like I was truly integrating with the local culture. The hotel is right on the grasslands, so you just step out and you're there. The sheep weren't afraid of people either, and trying a bit of herding was a great experience. All in all, it was incredibly good value, and the service was superb. If you're heading to the Old Town, just arrange a time with the hotel in advance, and they'll drop you off at the East Gate for free. For anyone visiting Shangri-La, this place is a no-brainer! Absolutely satisfied.

## Facilities: We checked in at the end of November, and perhaps because it was the off-season, my mom and I were upgraded for free to a loft-style scenic family room. The bedding was super comfortable, and the huge floor-to-ceiling windows offered fantastic views. The pervasive underfloor heating was incredibly cozy, and they even had humidifiers. Most importantly, the hairdryer wasn't just a Dyson; it came with multiple attachments perfect for curling, straightening, and various hairstyles! Very thoughtful! ## Ambiance: The entire hotel features a wabi-sabi style with natural wood, embracing the true essence of nature. For example, the wooden rocking chairs on the third-floor observation deck are made of solid wood, and the tables and chairs in the ground-floor restaurant also have a very refined texture. ## Service: Transfers are provided by Mercedes-Benz luxury vans. Whether you're coming from the train station, airport, or a scenic spot in Shangri-La city, they offer doorstep pick-up and drop-off, always on time! Before check-in, guests are added to a dedicated group, and every day of your stay, you receive various tips and reminders, such as information about breakfast, lunch, dinner, craft workshops, and bonfire parties. ### Special Mentions: It's worth noting that our high-speed train on the second day was at 3 PM, and they kindly extended our check-out until 2 PM. They also gave us highland barley twist bread and yak cheese as a farewell gift! Every single staff member at the hotel was incredibly, incredibly, incredibly wonderful. There was a very sweet young lady at the front desk who taught us about traditional ******* butter tea and how to make tsampa, explaining everything in great detail, from daily habits to the preparation process. Plus, she's an amazing photographer with an incredible eye for composition – 100% perfect shots! From late November to February of the following year, you can enjoy the stunning 'Golden Mountain under the Sun' view from the hotel restaurant while having breakfast with deer and alpacas! If we can meet again, I hope it's when spring is in full bloom!

The view was amazing, even more beautiful than in the pictures. The room was even more beautiful than in the pictures. The hotel upgraded our room, which had a smart toilet, an oxygen machine, heated floors, and a humidifier – so comfortable! The bed was incredibly soft. The staff were lovely; they greeted us upon arrival, helped us with our laundry, and provided a comfortable Mercedes van for transportation. We wanted to visit Yila Grassland nearby, and they gave us a free ride because we couldn't get a Didi call. Interacting with the little lambs on the property is incredibly therapeutic, and every photo you take is a stunning natural masterpiece. The food is authentic; the yak hotpot is delicious, and the ******* breakfast is wonderfully warming and satisfying. In the afternoon, sipping tea on the terrace, feeling the breeze, and watching the clouds drift by is pure bliss and relaxation. The location is convenient, not far by car from Songzanlin Monastery and Dukezong Ancient City, and self-parking is easy. Here, you don't need to rush your itinerary; just relax, gaze at the lake, listen to the wind, and embrace a slow-paced life. It's truly rejuvenating. This is a genuine, unfiltered review – the views, service, and comfort are all excellent. If you're looking for a comfortable stay close to nature in Shangri-La, choosing Muka Manor is absolutely the right decision. I wholeheartedly recommend it! There are 17 cabins in the manor, all of which are viewing rooms with independent bathrooms. The manor has about 100 mu of lawn, and has 6 horses, 3 dogs, 3 alpacas, 2 sika deer, 3 pet goats, 1 shepherd dog, 5 cats, chickens, ducks and geese. and we have one famouce coffee shop called Heidou coffee shop"
