The Q Hotel ★★★
"The hotel is lovely, staff are friendly and helpful. The room we had needed to be updated really. It was very dark and the decor was dated. Bed was comfy."
Medehamstede Hotel ★★
"If you like quirky places with a personality I’d recommend this place. Nice big garden with tables and chairs, an old school bar area and yummy breakfast in a beautifully laid out dining room. Even tho the communal areas are a little dated (which I love!) the actual bedrooms are modern, bright and clean. Allison checked us in and as soon as we met her she made us feel so welcome. She went above and beyond for us, we will 100% be back just to see her! What a fantastic lady!!"
Luccombe Manor Country House Hotel ★★★
"Unbeatable sea view room"
The Queens Road Hotel
The Clifton ★★★★
"A well run beautifully clean and well located hotel. We stayed in room 16 with a beautiful view over Shanklin Bay. Everything about the hotel was great. Nice breakfast too. Lovely and quiet. Would highly recommend this hotel"
Luccombe Hall Hotel ★★★
"Good location, some staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely will come back."
The Fig Tree Shanklin ★★★★
"It is an amazing hotel with great location and view. I wish it was a bit cleaner; we found a big hair ball in bathroom and a tea stain in bedsheets. Other than that it was great and will come back"
Villa Mentone Hotel ★★★
"First of all i would like to add that the manager made us all welcome and was very friendly, but the room this we stayed in let the whole place down. We paid £220 a night for apparently the penthouse suite , it was no penthouse but an attic room with 3 bedrooms in it, needing a lot of doing up. The only wardrobe was in the main bedroom no storage to hang up clothes in the other bedrooms. The bathroom and shower was a disgrace with the shower door having to close a certain way see photos. If you have a disability you’re stuffed!! no lift so you have to climb 59 steps to reach your room! We called it the stairs of death very steep. The doors was very drafty and we had to put a piece of cardboard in one to stop it rattling during the night. Double glazing has gone in one window. Very disappointed with room. Car park small see photos. Safe to say we won’t be returning."
Ocean View Hotel ★★★
"Really nice view. I enjoyed everything. Bathtubs was amazing."

Waterfront Inn
"Really nice food and cocktails in a great location. Helpful, friendly staff. We sat outside on a lovely evening and enjoyed the view while we ate our dinner. I had a delicious paella, my daughter had a pasta dish and my granddaughter followed her standard choice of chicken nuggets, and they were good ones! We enjoyed a cocktail with our food one of which was non-alcoholic. Will happily go back there next time I’m in Shanklin."
The Cliff Hall
"My wife and I have just returned from a visit to the Isle of Wight . We chose the Cliff hall hotel based on the positive feedback from others and are glad we did . The hotel is in a great location with fantastic views out to sea it has a lovely lounge dining room and garden all with great views along with a nice bar and tasty breakfast we had a great stay but what makes it stand out from others are the owners Brendon & Deborah , they are friendly helpful and nothing is to much trouble thank you both for a very enjoyable stay 😊"
Number 29 - Only Adults
"The best guest house I have ever been to.excellent room, amenities, food and very friendly owners. We could not fault it."
The Havelock
"We were so pleased with our stay at this hotel, for several reasons, it was spotlessly clean, comfortable especially the bed and in a great location in between the town which has some nice restaurants and the beach lift which takes you down to a nice beach and a few more restaurants and cafes, also near a theater with some decent acts appearing. Vicky and Paul were such lovely hosts, very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The outdoor pool came in handy as the weather was good and the pool temperature was perfect. There is onsite parking at the front and back of the hotel. So, all in all from us it was a 10/10."
Luccombe Villa Holiday Apartments
"We've just got back from a week at Luccombe Villa. We had an absolutely fantastic time. The accommodation was perfect and very well appointment and Chris catered for our two children extremely well. I also appreciated the fact that when one thing broke it was fixed immediately. Highly recommended and we'll be back!"
Bourne Hall Country Hotel
"We went and had a lovely cream tea. The staff were extremely friendly. Grounds are lovely. There are beautiful views close by."
The Ryedale
"3rd stay at the Ryedale, John and Hayely are amazing hosts, they make you feel so welcomed at the B&B, rooms are lovely and clean with great amenities, amazing cooked breakfast and great selection of other items if you prefer, great location close to the beach, would highly recommend and will definitely be staying again"
The Snowdon House
"Had a lovely stay with friends at the Snowdon for a short break. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and spacious with a comfy bed. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order each morning with lots of choice on the menu. Excellent Eggs perfectly done with the full English. The hotel is very near to the cliff top path with great view of beach below and easy access to the lift if you don’t want to walk. Sally & Mike are full of information about the island and places to visit if you ask and there are lots of information leaflets if you need inspiration. We went to Osborne house which was a great day and interesting then relaxed with a meal overlooking Shanklin beach . Thank you for a smashing stay."
Braemar
"I don't often write reviews but Claire and Boz were so brilliant that I wanted to share. Breakfast was great and the room was clean and comfortable. The pool table in the lounge was a massive bonus when we had a rainy morning. We'll be back!"
The Richmond Bed and Breakfast - Adults Only
"We stayed at The Stonehedge Bed and Breakfast in Richmond, BC both before and after our Alaska cruise. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and saw to our every need. The backyard garden was a beautiful spot for relaxing by the pool. Snacks and beverages were provided along with an outstanding breakfast! Although we were unable to enjoy breakfast the last morning due to our flight departure, the host provided a 'take away' breakfast of muffins and fruit. So thoughtful. We highly recommend a stay at this bed and breakfast!"
