Very close to the high-speed train station. As soon as I booked the room, customer service reached out and patiently answered all my questions about dining and transportation. They were very enthusiastic and professional. Xiao Chen from the guest services department even arranged pick-up and drop-off at the high-speed train station. I booked in advance, and the driver patiently confirmed the departure time – very attentive and polite. Shantou Station round-trip transfer service for two: Excellent! Late check-out until 3 PM (subject to availability): Yes! They will try their best to arrange late check-out based on the actual situation.

Before check-in, they proactively reached out to understand our needs. All our requests, such as a high-floor, quiet, non-smoking room, a baby crib, and extra bottled water, were perfectly arranged. A big thank you to Xiao Wu from Guest Services for meticulously handling everything. Thumbs up for Xiao Wu and the hotel's send-off service, it was excellent! 👍👍

The hotel is great, and the service is warm and attentive, especially from Ms. Chen at the front desk. The breakfast is also quite rich. The only drawback is that it's a bit far from Xiaogongyuan, and a taxi ride takes a while.

The hotel immediately felt very clean upon entering. For families with babies, they even provide bed rails, which is very thoughtful in every aspect. The hotel's location is quiet yet convenient, offering a peaceful night's sleep. There are many dining options nearby, and it's quite close to the MixC mall area, so you can even order takeout. The only, only minor drawback is that the curtains aren't blackout enough. I was woken up by the light around 7 AM every morning. If that could be improved, I would definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Shantou in the future.

Very close to the high speed rail; yet provide free transportation between the station and the hotel and the car is very spacious and clean.  The staff at the reception and the concierge are very friendly and helpful.

The service was excellent. One day, while I was out buying bath bombs for a relaxing soak, I called the front desk to request a disposable bath liner. Upon my return, I found it had already been delivered to my door. We had two suites; however, suite 1123 really needs to be aired out, as it had a somewhat stale smell.

Facilities: Excellent. Cleanliness: Spotless. Ambiance: The environment is very pleasant, clean, and quiet. Service: Outstanding! A special mention to the lovely lady from the housekeeping team. She proactively called to confirm my estimated arrival time, seamlessly arranged for my pick-up and drop-off, and even thoughtfully presented me with a small gift. Her service was truly exceptional. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit. Huge appreciation also goes to the shuttle driver, who was incredibly friendly and helpful!

This hotel is truly amazing! The rooms are spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated to feel warm and cozy. The bedding is incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. The location is also incredibly convenient, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options right at its doorstep. The staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile, making you feel completely at home. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

Poor service, terrible attitude, and abysmal hygiene. The sheets had bloodstains; the replacement they brought had a hole in it. The hairdryer was caked with dust and hair, absolutely filthy. The overall environment was also poor. The lobby carpet had a strong musty smell, and the rooms were incredibly run-down (even the nearby Shantou International Hotel, an older property, doesn't feel this decrepit). This largely stems from a management problem, as the doorman, front desk, lobby manager, and housekeeping staff were all indifferent, unhelpful, and lacked any smiles. I called the front desk to request clean sheets, and they hung up on me mid-sentence, faster than I could hang up myself! When housekeeping finally came to replace the blood-stained sheets, the staff member wore a sour face and clearly exuded resentment. I will definitely not be staying here again.

Highly recommend! After a disappointing experience at our previous hotel and struggling to find a suitable place on any travel app, my friend and I decided to book this hotel on the spot. We thought a five-star hotel couldn't be too bad, but the relatively cheap price made us a bit apprehensive. To our surprise, it turned out to be a huge pleasant discovery! Firstly, the hotel's cleanliness was impeccable – the carpets were spotless, and every detail was well-maintained. Secondly, the service was excellent; they even offered us a complimentary local snack (Guozhi) and provided a shuttle service to/from Shantou Station. I must say, hotels with Hong Kong investment truly deliver professional service. For less than 400 RMB, you wouldn't expect much, but the Emperor Hotel made us feel like we deserved the best! The hotel is relatively old, so there aren't many power sockets, which meant we couldn't easily charge our phones by the bed while using them. But that's a minor detail and really a matter of personal preference. Overall, we're extremely satisfied and would definitely return!

This designated five-star hotel is conveniently located very close to Shantou Station. Both the exterior and the lobby are quite grand, and the service is excellent. I even added a front desk staff member on WeChat, who proactively offered to arrange my drop-off at the station, which was very thoughtful. Upon entering the lobby, there was an unpleasant odor, which felt like a damp and musty smell from old carpets. I'd suggest they use an air freshener or air purifier in the lobby to alleviate this. While the room facilities were a bit dated, the cleanliness was decent. The gym and outdoor swimming pool looked quite appealing, and I'd be keen to try them out on a future stay.

I was captivated by the short video showcasing the hotel, presented by Ms. Chen from the guest services department. I then called her, and after her detailed explanation, decided to stay at the Emperor Hotel. My stay absolutely lived up to expectations! ① The hotel lobby is grand, and both the lobby and all floors are luxuriously decorated (even after more than ten years). ② The staff, from the front desk to all floors, especially Ms. Chen from housekeeping, were warm and friendly, always putting guests first and ready to answer any questions. ③ Considering the hotel's location, size, all its facilities, service quality, and price, the value for money is exceptional. I'll definitely be coming back often.
