Looks more like a resort than hotel. Hotel lobby was very grand but facilities are worn down. There is a gym and karaoke room but the karaoke looks more like night club, swimming pool looks old too and it’s closed. Room size ok, necessities are all equipped but lack of power points for charging and no international sockets. Shower surprisingly very comfy good water pressure with enclosed shower and bath tub, and I am very happy to see the washlet toilet. Room comes with a balcony with table and chairs and the view is nice. Free coffee and tea at the lobby. Buffet breakfast variety more local and food are all quite oily, very tasty though. There is a male staff at the reception which I would like to compliment, he helped us book DiDi during our stay throughout using his own account as we have issue with our WeChat. Excellent service! Took DiDi to nearby bainian dong jie for night market and food, must go place if you visit Shaoguan, try the mu mian ting chuan shao, very nice.

Well, what do you expect of Holiday inn ? Exactly same standard wherever you go, here they do deliver it. Comfy bed, excellent pillow selection, all things works in the room, nice furniture and good lighting. Front staff very attentive and nice. Internet runs smoothly. Plus? Tvb Pearl (HK channel in English ) . Check in and check out seamless. You pay the price and it's worth every penny.

The hotel lobby is magnificently designed, the parking space downstairs is not enough, there is no underground parking lot, you need to grab it, 😭 The room is relatively large, the bathroom is quite big, the carpet is very beautiful, the decoration is not old, but it gives people a feeling that it is not new, maybe the overall style is a bit old and not modern enough. Upstairs across the river can see the river view of East Street, less than 10 minutes walk from the style building/100-year-old East Street, and very close to the East Dike Cross Road of various snacks, quiet in the middle of noisy.

From the moment we checked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and this was the case throughout our stay. They were also very accommodating and extremely professional. A very large hotel located conveniently close to Shaoguan East railway station (not the high-speed rail) and its adjacent bus station from where there are regular buses to Danxia Mountain and nearby villages. The room I stayed in had no window, but the AC worked well and the wi-fi was adequate. The en-suite bathroom was great and the bed comfortable, although the mattress was a little hard. The included buffet breakfast did not have much to appeal to western tastes, but there was enough to keep me going for a few hours.

During the National Day, we undertook many wedding banquets and other banquets. There were fewer service staff. The service was relatively loose.
