Country Garden Phoenix Hotel Shaoguan (Shaoguan Centennial East Street)

Free parking and a quiet location, nestled against the mountains. Check-in was very quick, and the lobby is stunning, reminiscent of the Venetian in Las Vegas. The room was quite spacious, and the large bed was very comfortable. Sliding open the door revealed a pool and lush green gardens. A very good value for money hotel.

The hotel's environment and hygiene are meticulously maintained, creating an elegant and pleasant atmosphere. The public area corridors are perfect for photos. It's conveniently located with easy access to dining, drinking, and transportation. There's a self-service laundry room and a gym, and parking is free with plenty of spaces. A big plus is the electric vehicle charging stations, which was very convenient for us since we drive an EV.

The front desk staff were very polite and proactively upgraded my room, which was a pleasant surprise. The complimentary chilled dessert soup was delicious, and they mentioned it was freshly prepared by the hotel chef that day. Overall, I was satisfied with the room; it was a balcony room with a nice view, and the air conditioning worked great. The facilities were well-maintained, and the room was clean and odor-free.

Still a great choice! The environment is lovely, very comfortable, and the huge balcony offers views of the backyard camping area. There are tents, and you can BBQ or have hotpot, which is perfect for families with kids and elderly relatives alike.
