Caoxi Hot Spring Holiday Resort

The hotel is about 3-4 kilometers from Nanhua Temple, which is quite close and perfect for self-driving tours. The hotel environment is great, with a stream behind the villa. The breakfast is quite rich, offering freshly cooked noodles and congee, and the restaurant staff are very friendly. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the hot water is from a hot spring. However, the shampoo and shower gel ran out and the staff forgot to refill them, which could be improved.

It took us a little over two hours to drive from Guangzhou for our holiday. The hotel is really close to Nanhua Temple, and the natural hot spring water is excellent, with many pools to choose from. There's also a free shuttle buggy service around the resort, so you don't get tired walking. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient during check-in. The room was also great, and I slept wonderfully after a relaxing hot spring soak!

2 adults and 1 child, Caoxi unlimited hot springs: The room comes with a small courtyard and a semi-open-air hot spring pool, which is great for family trips! Parking is also super convenient. However, the hotel's breakfast buffet was a really bad experience, probably because of the New Year's Day crowd. Environment: The hotel is opposite Nanhua Temple, so it's easily accessible and the air quality is excellent!

The hotel boasts a pleasant environment, situated in a hot spring resort area; however, the hotel facilities are outdated, the guest rooms have a musty smell and poor soundproofing; the hot spring temperature is low, the facilities are clean, the meals are simple, and the service needs improvement.
