Shaoguan Yuejie Homestay

I've been here several times, and every colleague I've brought with me has praised the environment, the friendly owner, and the generous breakfast. This time, the weather was cooler, and it was especially comfortable to sit outside in the courtyard and drink tea.

The tranquil garden, with winding paths leading to secluded areas and lush flowers and trees, feels like being transported to a world away from the hustle and bustle. The shop owner was very considerate, with signposts all the way from the fork in the road in the village, making it easy to find.

The guesthouse is located in a somewhat remote village, and a short stretch of road was muddy due to the rain. However, it truly is a paradise! There's a large courtyard with many peach trees, and a large fishpond nearby where you can fish. The two-story house is simply decorated, naturally tranquil. The rooms are spacious, with high-quality bedding and complete amenities. You can sit at the doorway, relax, and simply while away the time – a very comfortable feeling. The manager, Brother Mo, is warm, honest, and very friendly. Since there are no restaurants nearby, requiring a drive of several kilometers to the village entrance for food, Brother Mo suggested that we could bring our own ingredients and cook for ourselves, only paying a small sanitation fee. That would be perfect!

The environment is quiet, the room is clean, and there are porridge and fried noodles for breakfast. It is suitable for vacation, but the road is a bit remote.

It was really great, very cost-effective. I stayed there for the weekend with my wife, parents-in-law, and the breakfast was excellent. Since it was the off-season, there were only four of us. The hotel has many facilities, and I highly recommend it. This was my first time staying at this hotel, and the overall experience was very good.

The scenery was beautiful and the service was excellent.

The accommodation was great, and the guesthouse was beautifully designed. You can even fish! Catch your own fish and cook it yourself – a complete package! Besides fishing, you can also sing karaoke, watch movies, practice calligraphy, play drums, and there might be other entertainment options we haven't explored yet. Parents with young children can combine the sofa and bed to create a safety barrier so kids won't fall off. The guesthouse service was excellent; the receptionist even brought a small toy when he heard my baby crying and proactively helped move the coffee table and assemble the sofa. He was very nice! He offered help without being asked. We brought our family, cooked a big meal, and everyone was very happy. We loved this guesthouse! Satisfied! 👍
