Taohua Valley is super beautiful, and feels a bit like a little Switzerland. The owners of the B&B are really honest, simple and lovely, and they treat the guests as their own family. My favorite is the big fireplace in the public area of their home, where you can sit around the fire, eat, drink tea and eat melon seeds by the warm fireplace. What's even more amazing is that I used the residual heat from the fireplace to dry the ground vegetables I picked up. The bacon was so delicious that I wanted to buy some to take away, but the landlord said he didn’t have enough for himself. Listening to the gurgling sound of flowing water outside the window, I spent an unforgettable Mid-Autumn Night here. When we opened the window in the morning, we were greeted by beautiful scenery. The enthusiastic landlord couple sent us to the door. We will come again if we have the chance in the future.
