Swissotel Shenyang

Booked this room for a friend. The duty manager at check-in was incredibly welcoming. The room was clean and tidy, the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and there was plenty of hot water with stable temperature. A really good experience overall!

The room was excellent – very sunny and a comfortable temperature. The location is great, making it easy to get around. It's very close to MixC, which is super convenient for shopping and dining. Yolanda at the front desk was exceptionally nice and thoughtful; she even arranged a late check-out for me.

This was the most satisfying hotel we stayed at during our trip to the three northeastern provinces, so it definitely deserves a five-star review. 1. The hotel's central location is convenient for transportation and offers beautiful views. The floor-to-ceiling windows in our room directly overlooked the TV Tower and Youth Park. 2. The interior decor is new, stylish, and comfortable. The room itself was incredibly spacious and luxurious (the only minor flaw was that it was hard to tell if the light switches were on or off, so you had to try them out to find the right one). 3. The buffet breakfast was high-quality and unpretentious, fresh, hot, and delicious. The food displays were clear and easy to navigate, making it convenient and pleasant to dine. 4. The value for money was excellent. Just before check-in, I noticed the price was significantly lower than when I originally booked, so I re-booked (I feel Ctrip should proactively notify customers of lower prices, especially since they collect a deposit and should offer a best price guarantee). 5. This is truly a must-stay hotel in Shenyang.

This hotel is really just so-so. The price isn't cheap, and they claim it's one of the top five scenic spots in Shenyang... The view is very average, the TV is tiny, and the toiletries are also very basic. That toothpaste is something else! The only decent thing is that it's super close to the subway station and the night market. Besides that, there's really nothing to recommend. Plus, it felt like a lot of business conferences were being held here. Overall, I don't think this hotel offers good value for money at all for the price.

Aimme, the lobby manager, truly impressed me with her warm and thoughtful service. She not only proactively helped guests resolve issues but also made them feel secure and satisfied through her meticulous care. This spirit of going above and beyond her duties is crucial for enhancing the customer experience. Whether it was answering questions or providing practical assistance, Aimme demonstrated both professionalism and humanistic care, which is highly commendable.
