Shenzhen Futian Jinzhonghuan Hotel (Meilin Branch)

0.5 stars isn't a review, it's just the lowest I could possibly rate this place. The stay was absolutely terrible. I was here for a business trip, and I usually don't bother leaving reviews unless it's exceptionally bad. The room type I booked was advertised for floors 14-17, but the front desk gave me a room on the 5th floor without any explanation. Many rooms on the 5th floor were still under renovation. The room amenities also didn't match what was advertised online; the listing showed a TV, but there wasn't one in the room. Wires were hanging out of the wall corners, meaning they rented out rooms that weren't even fully renovated. There was also a lingering smell of formaldehyde. The duvet had stains. The room key only worked for one specific elevator, and couldn't be used for any others. Bad, very bad, absolutely awful!!!

The entire floor was under renovation and incredibly noisy. They were knocking from 7 AM to 7 PM. All I could hear was drilling, and the room next door was knocking right where my headboard is, which made me so stressed out.

The hotel is great, very clean, and has beautiful surroundings with convenient transportation.

Very close to the subway station. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean.

The room was tiny, run-down, and dirty – more like a rental apartment than a hotel. Definitely not worth over 300. The sofa was filthy, stained with what looked like various unidentified liquids. The bathroom was cramped and poorly designed; it was hard to stand at the sink, which was also clogged. The toiletries like toothpaste were also subpar. Even the towels were dirty.

The front desk service was very quick for check-in, and the room amenities were complete and good, haha.

Upon arriving, the lobby felt very grand and impressive. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, and the elevators were really convenient. Overall, I really liked it! 😘
