The hotel's location is excellent and offers great value for money, just a 5-6 minute walk from Chegongmiao subway station. The bed was large, comfortably firm, and we could even see the sea in the distance from our window. While the hotel's facilities are a bit dated, the service truly stands out! Xiao Yang and Xiao Tu at the front desk were very welcoming during check-in and even gave us complimentary breakfast since we had a child with us. The housekeeping staff in the hallway also greeted us warmly. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

The room was clean and tidy, and the service was absolutely fantastic, really great! It's a perfect place to return to, especially in Shenzhen at the Wanguo Hotel. Whether you're a couple or on a business trip, it's suitable for all, no matter what your plans are.

They gave me a free upgrade because it was the off-season. However, the laundry room was really bad; I hope they improve it.

1. **Housekeeping is extremely perfunctory:** We stayed for multiple nights, and each day upon returning to the room, there was no deep cleaning whatsoever. Our personal items and trash remained untouched, and toiletries were not refilled. The housekeeping staff merely straightened the duvet and called it a day. They completely failed to perform basic room cleaning duties, and the hygiene condition was unacceptable. 2. **Front desk staff have a terrible attitude:** When we inquired about issues or provided feedback, the front desk staff were cold, impatient, and completely lacked a service mindset. They were dismissive throughout our interactions and showed no professionalism whatsoever. We paid a normal room rate but didn't even receive the most basic level of cleanliness and service. This hotel was a complete letdown; avoid it at all costs!

The hotel is located in a busy area. There are a lot of shops, cafes in that area. The staff is friendly enough and try to solve the problems. The room isn’t new. But it’s fine. I recommend to stay there if you’re looking for the affordable accommodation.

The air conditioning wasn't warm enough, the shower stall was tiny, and the large bathtub was unusable. The front desk staff's attitude was pretty mediocre, and there was a strange smell throughout the entire hotel as soon as you walked in. The room itself felt damp and uncomfortable, with old facilities that made for an unpleasant stay. The price wasn't cheap either. Honestly, everything was just bad, and I felt really upset that the money I spent didn't match the experience. The chairs were dirty, the bathroom drain was a bit clogged, and the hot water in the shower wasn't hot. The way the door opened was also really odd; you had to push it upwards. All in all, I absolutely do not recommend this place!!! These are my honest thoughts from my stay.
