Fanshe Youth Apartment（GANGXIA STATION）

The location is perfect! Just walking distance from Futian bullet train station. The place is tourist-friendly, the environment is calm and clean. Views from the balcony are nice since it's a 31 floor. There are a lot of cheap and delicious food available down in the area

Il was mostly the cleaniness the problem. Both the room and the bathroom were always linda dirty and not having the best of smells. It felt likethe floors hadn’t been washed in a while. The lady is very nice though and the position good

The service was very nice, and the girl at the front desk was very kind. However, I almost checked out because the girl in my room worked at night, and I couldn't sleep. She set the air conditioner to 30°C. I told her the room was very warm, and she finally lowered it to 27.5°C. 😂 I was roasting! Also, the bed squeaked every time we moved. The receptionist offered me another room, but I preferred to move to a different hostel

The stay was great. Let’s start with pros: 1. Hostel administrator was so nice and helpful. 2. Hostel has all the amenities you may need 3. Located in the city centre, near to the metro station 4. Low price, which is good for students travelling solo cons: 1. Difficult to find the hostel, especially for travellers with heavy bags it may be challenging 2. The bathrooms look quite uncomfortable((

The only thing is that it’s an apartment building with lots of entrances and also condition might be better for the bed linen. But they were flexible on keeping my bag in the locker which is extra mark

V ery nice and clean, no issues and everyone is friendly if I come back to shenzen I will stay here happily

My first room had a very strong smoke smell everywhere. The receptionist has really nice and offered to show me two other rooms. The next room was better, no mold, no smell but the bathroom and the corridors were a mess. Dearly in need of renovation. The view from the room was nice though, cause it's at the top of the building on the 32st and 31st floor. There are multiple Appartements with rooms they rent out and some of the other bathrooms looked a lot better. So I think it's a bit of a gamble to rent a room here. The staff was really nice and reacted promptly. You can buy tidepods for 1 Yuan and use the washing machine for free. There is no dryer though. While I was there there were some issues with the water. A day later I received a message that the water supply would be switched off because of construction/maintenance work. Don't really know if that is the hostels fault though. They could be a lot stricter with enforced Ng the nonsmoking rule though.
