Muji Hotel Shenzhen

A truly awful experience. (1) I opened the door to my room only to find someone lying on the bed! I honestly thought I was being attacked and immediately ran out and down to the front desk. They explained it was a "system error" – apparently, the guest check-in system and the key card system are separate. The staff member had simply entered the wrong room number, meaning the same room could be assigned to multiple guests. (2) After getting a new room, I pulled out a chair only to find a selfie stick left by the previous guest. Makes you wonder how they clean the rooms. (3) The shower floor tiles weren't non-slip. After showering, with soap residue on the floor, I nearly slipped and fell. It seems they prioritize design over practical details. For this price, I'd rather stay at an Atour hotel.

Located inside the UpperHills shopping center, this hotel offers a tranquil retreat amidst the bustle. It's conveniently situated between Bijia Mountain Park and Lianhua Mountain Park, making it ideal for morning strolls. The shopping center boasts a wide variety of dining options (both Chinese and Western). The hotel service is excellent, with staff always ready to assist. The rooms are clean, minimalist, and even come with a small disc player for music. However, there are a couple of minor points I'd like to mention. Check-in was quite late; even during an off-peak time, we had to wait until after 2 PM, which was a bit too long for us elderly guests. Also, the TV seemed a little small compared to the overall room amenities. It would be great if the restaurant's food selection could be more diverse, and I suggest frying eggs on demand rather than having a large quantity sitting out for an extended period. I hope these suggestions lead to further improvements. Overall, your service is commendable!👍

The room was fantastic, with a great view of Lotus Mountain. It was clean and tidy, and the MUJI wooden furniture design made it feel incredibly cozy. The use of essential oils really helped relieve the day's fatigue.
