Starway Hotel (Shenzhen Nanshan Xili Subway Station) Reviews

We stayed in xili to be close to friends studying in Shenzhen. The location is really good, it's 5 minutes to many good and affordable restaurants and two MRT lines. The check-in is okay, but a little overwhelming with no skills in Mandarin. We got told about breakfast (via translator) and where to find our room. It was a clean, big room and mostly up to a good standard. We encountered a problem to use the AC correctly as the remote had many buttons in Chinese only. But this was a minor concern and we like to stay there again.

We came over from Hong Kong and we’re a family of 2A2C + 1 baby. We chose this hotel because we wanted to visit the Shenzhen Wildlife Zoo and this hotel was one that’s within close distance to the Metro Station. Did a bit of research and this was our top choice for reasons listed below: 1) 2 double size beds 2) Children stay free 3) Convenient Location (Xili Station Exit B) it’s like 1 min walk, literally just at the metro exit and you will see it. 4) Lots of Eateries & Convenience Shops nearby 5) KFC and Macdonalds & 366 Street 6) Competitive Price (Value for Money) Check-in was fast, Room was big, Shower had good water pressure, Bedding was clean and comfy, Bath Towels & Toothbrush / Toothpaste provided, TV had local channels, Robot that delivers your food delivery order to your room, It was easy to walk to 366 street for food and convenience shops etc… (we went during the evening and we enjoyed the lively atmosphere and was pleasantly satisfied with the abundance and variety of food selection.) There is a Lawson shop. There are also a couple of hair salon, 便利店, fruit stalls, beef hotpot, fast food, snack stalls, mixue etc… The hotel is surrounded by eateries, and I think there is also a shopping mall across the street. 5 star for convenience! Easy to locate hotel from metro exit and no worries about access to food (by foot or via food delivery) It would have been better if the room offered a mini bar fridge for refrigeration for guests drinks or for nursing mums to store milk. The floor was sticky and our feet were black, improvement on house keeping for flooring cleanliness would be an important aspect to improve on for overall guest comfort. It’s a 8/10 for our family. I like that it was fairly quiet despite being situated near roads and traffic area. Pleasant stay! They were kind enough to help me store my baby’s milk and freeze my ice bag for me with no extra charge. Yes! We will definitely stay again. Sign, Singapore Family with young children Living in HK.

The address : Starway Hotel (Shenzhen Nanshan Xili Station), Liuxiang avenue , Xili Station, Nanshan District, Shenzhen 518055 It's right In front of Xili station , B exit, one station further from Shenzhen Safari Park, which is at Xili Lake station. The food restaurants are surrounded, it's 5 minutes walking distance, where you can find plenty of restaurants at C exit. The rooms are spacious, looks like they are newly renovated, but look simple designs. Unfortunately no view of our rooms, the windows are blocked by an advertisement board. The service staff at the front office are excellent, whenever you place an order, they will send the Robotic to bring goods to your room, which is very high technology. The hotel provided exceptional service and great facilities. The staff was welcoming, and the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. With convenient access to local attractions, it was a memorable stay. Highly recommended for those seeking quality service and excellent amenities.

The hotel is located at very convenient place and staffs are very good. However, we found some cockroaches at the toilets of Ground Floor.

The place is clean and hotel staff is very friendly. It is near to the metro station so easily accessible. Definitely recommend this place.

Henhao

The room is very satisfactory, the transportation is convenient, the room is large, the breakfast is delicious, and it takes 15 minutes to get to Shenzhen North Station. The transportation is really convenient. This time I went to the zoo, which is 10 minutes away. I like it and recommend it

The subway station is right in front of the hotel, very convenient, the breakfast is rich and delicious, the service is warm, I like it very much, recommended

This stay experience was great 😎! The front desk staff took the initiative to help with luggage and guided check-in, which was meticulous and thoughtful. The room is very cozy, I like this style very much, the facilities are complete, clean and quiet. More importantly, there is a subway entrance right at the door, which is very convenient and saves a lot of time. Recommend to everyone, very good

The hotel has a very good check-in experience. The facilities and equipment are also very complete. The takeaways ordered are delivered to the room by robots. There is a food court next to the hotel, which is very convenient. The front desk service is very considerate and gave us directions. You can also store your luggage when you check out. Very good!

The worst Huazhu hotel I have ever stayed in. First of all, the door lock of the room given at the beginning was broken. I asked to change rooms and was told that "the staff would like to check it out together." Do you mean to ask for verification in person? Secondly, there is a lack of management of the facilities in the room. Socket panels fell off, light switch settings were scattered, and you had to get up to turn off the lights. The most ridiculous thing is that I was given a toothbrush but not toothpaste? ! Finally, when checking in, the front desk was busy chatting with the previous guests and did not see any other guests waiting? !

I was tired after a long drive and wanted to sleep for a while, so I booked an hourly room, but was given a very very very noisy room. I was really speechless. I booked a king-size bed but was given twin beds. After I asked for a king-size bed, I was given a very noisy room. I don't understand and I'm very angry.
