The St. Regis Shenzhen

The parking signs were so unclear, and there wasn't a single person at the entrance! I had to drive around twice and call to find out they share a parking lot with the mall. Then I had to wait ages for my room; it was so hard to relax after a long drive. The fruit they provided was pathetic – one banana, one small pear, and two tiny tangerines. I almost laughed! The only redeeming quality was the room view, but it was facing west, so it got super hot in the afternoon. At breakfast, we clearly had four breakfasts booked (two adults, two kids), but they didn't know and I had to call to confirm. And at the yogurt bar, there were no straws, they gave me a coffee shop straw instead – I was speechless! Honestly, only the lady on the first floor and the turn-down service auntie were good. There was hardly any other service. Thankfully, I only booked one night and checked out first thing in the morning. Oh, and the cantaloupe slices were huge!

The hotel is very well-maintained and doesn't feel old at all. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get around, and the views are absolutely stunning. The hotel service was exceptionally good! Oscar called me in advance to discuss my needs, and on the day of check-in, Riya had already arranged my room for me, allowing me to check in early. During my stay, a butler even brought me coffee. This was a truly pleasant and memorable experience!
