Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen

No need to introduce the Four Seasons brand. The location is excellent, very close to Futian Station, making it super convenient to get to Hong Kong. There are also plenty of shopping malls nearby (Coco Park, PA Mall, etc.), which is a huge plus. The service and hygiene are top-notch, nothing to complain about. It was my wife's birthday during our stay, and the hotel even arranged fruit and a cake, which was a lovely and thoughtful gesture. Although the room facilities are a bit dated, the quality is still very good. Every time I stay here, I sleep wonderfully. This is definitely my go-to place whenever I'm in Shenzhen.

I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen for a temporary business trip, and the attention to detail in their service left a lasting impression. Upon arriving at the hotel entrance, Max, the manager who assisted me with my previous check-in, immediately recognized me and provided exceptional service. His incredible memory for guests truly showcases the high-caliber service at luxury hotels. The guest room had an open layout, offering a nearly perfect stay and rest experience. The sofa lounge area, workspace, and sleeping area were clearly separated, creating a smooth flow that's ideal for business travelers. The bathroom featured a bathtub and a smart toilet, and all facilities were well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay during my business trip. Breakfast was at the FOO restaurant, which boasts a timeless 'old money' design that has stood the test of time. My favorite part was the seating experience; there were numerous semi-private 'booth' style seats that offered great comfort and allowed for an undisturbed dining experience. The breakfast selection was impressive, featuring everything from Kashi yogurt, a wide variety of bread options, freshly made wontons, to Chinese brewed flower teas. It's clear that the Four Seasons invests heavily in its dining offerings, making the early morning breakfast experience for a business trip truly satisfying.

The front desk service was excellent, responding quickly to requests and providing appropriate assistance. The location is superb, situated between two large shopping malls, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The breakfast was very plentiful.

It's been a while since I brought my family to stay at the Four Seasons Shenzhen. On the day of check-in, Max contacted me and enthusiastically arranged for us to check in directly at the Executive Lounge on the 29th floor, which felt very welcoming! He also helped upgrade us to a suite on the 30th floor and thoughtfully arranged a small bed and a little tent for the child. Previously, he made a personalized key card for me, which I still carry. This time, he made a cute bear-themed key card for my child with her name printed on it, and she absolutely loved it! I've also stayed at the Four Seasons in Guangzhou, Tianjin, and Beijing before, and they were all excellent! But I feel a special connection to the Four Seasons Shenzhen; every time I come back, it feels like returning home. Perhaps this is the true essence of a top-tier hotel. The Executive Lounge has seen some changes; breakfast is now served as a set menu, which is quite good. They prepare just enough portions for the number of guests, which is quite eco-friendly. I feel the entire hotel has a very strong environmental consciousness, including the packaging of toothpaste and the wooden toothbrushes, etc. APEC Shenzhen is coming up soon, and the Four Seasons should be the official hotel, meeting very international standards. The Bose sound system in the room is also a nice touch. The Executive Lounge experience was great this time; the supervisor, Cecilie, was very warm, and Chadi even came over personally to greet my family during dinner, which was a pleasant surprise. Oh, and the outdoor pool was open in the summer with a perfect water temperature. It was a wonderful experience, and I look forward to staying again!

The bedding in the room was very comfortable, and the natural light and views were also fantastic.

Always excellent, as usual! Especially Ricky, Rica, and Carrie, who provided such thoughtful service during my breakfast and afternoon tea. They even noticed my dark circles and kindly asked if I hadn't slept well last night – I really felt cared for!

The room was large and spacious, with a big bathtub and excellent hot water. However, the pool was a major disappointment, and it's where all the points were deducted. 1. The changing rooms aren't connected to the pool; you have to go out and then back in, which is a very strange design. 2. The depth was the shallowest I've ever encountered. For a 19-meter pool, the indoor section was 0.9-1.2 meters. Frankly, 0.9 meters is quite awkward for adults, and it's not even open 24 hours. 3. There's no standard hot spring pool, which nearly all five-star hotels I've visited have, but yours doesn't. The hardware facilities are worrying. 4. Even though the pool is on the 7th floor, the elevator doesn't stop there. You have to go to the 8th floor, walk through some rooms, pass a barbershop, take the stairs down to the 7th floor, and then pass the gym to reach the pool. I have no idea what the intention behind this design is; I almost got lost trying to get back to my room! 5. The gym is also quite small, with floor-to-ceiling windows, but outside the windows is just a wall. So, when you're on the treadmill, you're staring at a wall. What was the designer thinking??
