This was my first time staying at a chain hostel in Shenzhen. It was pretty good, and I'd like to add a bit more to my review. What I liked most was that it had a fully equipped kitchen, so I could cook my own meals. Other hostels usually don't have kitchens, or they're located in residential buildings with terrible soundproofing.

The front desk staff were super friendly and welcoming. The common areas were also very well-maintained, not at all like the messy and chaotic vibe you sometimes get at other hostels. For hostels, these chain hostels are definitely a better choice. Plus, the lockers even come with locks!

This is my second stay at this hostel, and to me, it's still one of the best in Shenzhen. It's also very close to the metro. The hostel is run by a lovely family from Henan. It's clean, well-maintained, and has excellent facilities, including a kitchen, a water dispenser and free lockers. The staff are friendly, attentive, and helpful. They also have a 24-hour reception. (Many hostels in Shenzhen don't have a reception at all!) The lounge has a fantastic atmosphere for meeting other travellers. To my surprise, they've even introduced an English Hour, where I had the chance to chat with many local Chinese guests. They shared plenty of useful tips for my upcoming trip to Hangzhou, and I even met two young lads from there. The hostel also gave me a 15% discount on my stay. I hope they continue offering it. Travelling in China can be challenging for non-Chinese speakers, as English isn't widely spoken, so opportunities like this are extremely rare and valuable. I would certainly stay here again when I fly out of Shenzhen.

The hotel is very clean and well-equipped. The water dispenser and kitchen facilities are complete. The 24-hour hot water shower is very comfortable, and the public restrooms are cleaned promptly. The 24-hour front desk service is excellent. Every time I come, I always want to stay here. The owner is very friendly.

The hotel is about a ten-minute walk from the subway, which is quite convenient, and there are many delivery options nearby. First, I knew before booking that there were no gender restrictions for check-in, but I wasn't aware that rooms weren't separated by gender.
