Cottage In Prestleigh, Somerset, England

This was a lovely little house with everything you need for a cosy stay. The whole space is well maintained, the stove is great and the bed has soft clean sheets. The area was fantastic great for all the local sights Glastonbury, Wells and Cheddar. It was so quiet we slept so well.

Excellent location in Central Somerset - a great base for the daily excursions we made. Cottage was very comfortable, with all amenities that one would need. We very much enjoyed our stay - peaceful and quiet. Just a couple of minor points: (1) the plug in the bathroom sink needs some lubrication - sticks; (2) I wonder if the post on the stairs that juts down into the kitchen area could be highlighted in some way. My wife bent down to place something in the rubbish bin and hit her forehead.

Lovely cottage in quiet area This was our second stay at this cottage and I would definitely stay here again. I think a couple of little touch ups here and there in the property would be helpful but they're very minor things.

A warm and peaceful breathing space A well presented, and spacious place to stay for two. Well equipped and easy access, with clear instructions and a warm welcome - including the effective underfloor heating! A car is needed, but a good base for the local area.

Great location for local sites and attractions The cottage is well located for Bath, Glastonbury and Shepton Mallet. It is extremely quiet and surrounded by lovely countryside. Suitably equipped for a short break or longer stay.

Beautiful holidays in Somerset We had a very relaxing holiday in the cottage in Prestleigh. It is very quiet and well located for exploring the region's attractions. The hosts are very friendly and the stay was absolutely uncomplicated.

Cosy cottage in great location Great one bedroom cottage that felt very spacious because of high ceilings downstairs in the open plan kitchen/living room. It had everything we needed for our stay. Hosts Ben and Naomi very helpful. Great location for exploring Somerset (Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury, Fleet Air Arm Museum, Cheddar Gorge, Wookie Hole all within 30 minute drive or so).

Excellent Self-Contained Cottage The cottage had everything that we needed. The kitchen, dining and lounge areas were comfortable and well equipment, so we could cook full dinners and relax watching the TV plus DVDs and Netflix in the evenings.The bedroom is a good size with a comfortable bed with a nice ensuite shower/toilet room. The check-in process was simple with the parking directly behind the cottage, so it was easy to bring bags into the cottage. The host came to check if everything was ok or if we had any questions a couple of hours after we arrived. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing short break.
