Very welcoming and friendly staff, quiet lovely gardens, stayed in a very comfortable room (Tamarix). One night only, would stay again. Peaceful nights sleep. Sloe gin in room was an unexpected nice touch! Breakfast nice and pretty standard.

I have been using the Eastbury for many years now and it never fails to welcome and impress. In my early days I visited alone but now I take my family. My wife enjoyed the spa and I had time with my daughter in Sherborne. The decor is warm and the beds and bedding a real luxury. Bathrooms are clean and modern. I live breakfast at the Eastbury and my 4 year old daughter finds the offerings fascinating. Looking forward to our next trip.

We have stayed at the Eastbury twice in the last 3 months. On both occasions, our room was upgraded at no additional cost: the latter being a suite which included a splendid 4-poster bed! Breakfasts are generous and delicious, served by pleasant staff and with views out to the beautiful garden. We have no hesitation in returning!

What an excellent hotel.Nothing to criticise.The location is good ,the rooms excellent,the breakfast superb. The staff are welcoming and extremely helpful. The gardens are a delight and our stay all in all was excellent so we really enjoyed our stay in Sherborne

This is an exceptionally well run and comfortable hotel in a great location. The rooms are very well appointed with comfortable beds. Breakfast is delicious especially if you like kippers! I cannot recommend this hotel sufficiently. It has become one of our favourites. Above all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful

Lovely family and friends stay for the night before our son’s wedding. We booked most of the rooms in The Eastbury and had a wonderful time. The rooms are nicely decorated and very spacious, although some of the bathrooms could benefit from a little updating. Breakfast was excellent, deliciously cooked and a great selection of healthy as well as more traditional options. We enjoyed all of the hotel’s facilities - the beautiful gardens, croquet lawn, outside terrace for tea/drinks and spa. Ellie and the team were brilliant and really went out of their way to make everything special for us.

We stayed two nights in a family suite with breakfast included. The hotel is in a great location with the main high street a mere 10 minutes walk. The hotel is deceptive at first as it is only when you arrive from the car park entrance around the back that you see their beautiful hotel grounds are which are very well maintained. The Spa is located in the grounds and there are garden games available to guests. The restaurant is lovely and it was great to have our breakfast with a view of the gardens. The breakfast was plenty and provided lots of choices to suit our family. Our family suite was really comfortable with plenty of space for a family of four. The 'White Company' toiletries were a big hit, as well as the choice of hot drinks and biscuits provided in the room. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome. At the time the bar was not open but we were able to order drinks and snacks which were brought to us whilst we used the 'Morning Room' one evening -the girls enjoyed playing with all the different board/card games provided. My wife and I had a massage treatment in the spa that was really relaxing and would recommend booking one. Sherbourne was a lovely town to visit with lots of individual shops and would recommend a visit to the Abbey. We loved our stay and hope to do it all again one day soon.

A truly gem where you can switch off from noise and rush. We stayed in Mint Suite and the whole family including our furry friend enjoyed. Plenty of space indoor and outdoor, from the lovely patio to the garden. Amazing breakfast too with a nice touch of sausage to my datschund. Looking forward for another stay. Thanks to the whole team!!

We stayed for 2n in The Potting Shed and not disappointed. It was clean, comfortable with a lovely walk-in shower. A fantastic breakfast choice of fresh fruit, yoghurt and seeds plus cooked options and pastries. The staff were very welcoming & friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.
