A lovely family-run stay in Cornwall ❤️ We had a wonderful stay at The Liscawn and really enjoyed the warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s a lovely family-run hotel, and the owners and staff were incredibly kind and friendly, which made us feel very comfortable and at home. The room was clean and well looked after, and the location is absolutely peaceful and quiet, with beautiful views. It’s also very close to some lovely coastal walks and the beach, which was perfect for enjoying the beauty of Cornwall. The highlight for us was definitely the proper English breakfast — fresh, delicious and just what you want to start the day! Overall, a charming place with lovely people, a peaceful location and a homely feel. We would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend The Liscawn to anyone looking for a relaxing Cornish getaway. ❤️

Agree entirely with a previous review in April 2023. Not an hotel, just a B&B with bar and a very limited menu. Mrs "Adams" just wanted to talk at us. The son, considerably older than 21, came up to us in the bar and said his mother would be with us soon to serve us drinks. Clearly he was not authorized to. Why? So we waited another 5 --10 mins for her to appear. No hot water in room - neither shower nor wash basin. Reactions were "we know one of the hot water timers is faulty, but it's nearly time for annual maintenance" and "we have plenty of hot water in the kitchens" !!!. Was i supposed to shower in the kitchens? No compensation offered on checkout. Beware very daunting steep narrow staircase to all the rooms. The very same son did take our bags upstairs on arrival, but was nowhere to be seen on departure. The corner shower was very cramped, but the doors only opened halfway so it was difficult to squeeze in, I am not very large 5ft9 and 13st. There was no bath mat to step out on nor soap. Only a wall mounted shower gel dispenser in the shower. We shall not go back even though the beds were comfortable, and a reasonable hospitality tray and kettle on the dressing table which just reached the power

What a lovely place and very wonderful view. Breakfast was amazing and the hospitality is overwhelming. We were a family of four from London and the room was spacious and comfortable. We are really happy with the service. We do recommend this place for anyone who would like a quiet and peaceful getaway from city life.

Lovely setting. Large rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Quality of ingredients for cooked breakfast could be improved

Friendly staff a bit of a struggle for wheelchair The staff were extremely friendly and tried very hard. The hotel was difficult to find in the dark. The room was a bit tired and warm. The shower was a bit awkward for a wheelchair user. Being on a steep sloop a wheelchair user will need help to get in and out of the main house for meals. The staff did everything they could to accommodate but any wheelchair user will need assistance

a very unique and beautiful place. The owners have restored this old hotel beautifully and it is being maintained to very high standard. The staff are very good and provide a high standard of service to the guests.

Amazing view Bedroom 7 was very clean, well decorated and comfortable but the shower cubicle is not suitable for anyone on the large side (over 12 stone) as the entrance is restricted. The stair carpet is worn and decor rather tired in the entrance. Sadly they ran out of eggs and brown bread at breakfast and sausages were tasteless but rest of cooked breakfast was fine. Friendly hosts and a quiet location with great view from the restaurant. Good amount of parking in front of hotel
