Free curry was served at the top floor restaurant during dinner time only. I ate out so I didn't eat it, but for some people, it's a great plan to save money on dinner. The hotel is a 3-5 minute walk from the station and there are several free parking lots around the hotel. Check-in was smooth. The facilities are old, but the location is excellent.

A very local hotel popular among the local business travellers. I was there to explore Gunma mountains and this is one of the best western style hotel I can find that is close to train station. I do have to say the hotel is very old but everything still good for me. The single room is small but it has everything I need. Their 8 floor dining area for breakfast was so awesome as you have a wide view of the town and mountains around it. Breakfast is acceptable and I don’t have any complaints about it. What I like a lot is that they also provide free curry rice every weekdays excerpt weekend and public holiday. Although the curry rice is very simple without any meat, but it was so comforting to eat it. There’s also an onsen that you can use it, and a common room with comics, massage chairs and old school computer to use.

I stayed here for my child's boxing tournament in the Kanto region (second time). I'm glad they offer free coffee in front of the front desk. The room is compact, but the best thing about it is the large communal bath with sauna. You can also use the private bath for 45 minutes. This time, you fill out the time slots yourself on a first-come, first-served basis, so I think it will be filled up if you stay late. There are also two free massage machines, which my son and I enjoyed. This time it wasn't a Saturday, but if you stay on a weekday, you can get free curry at night.
