Vivanta Meghalaya Shillong

had a wonderful stay at Vivanta Meghalaya, Shillong, and it exceeded my expectations in many ways. The hotel’s location is one of its biggest strengths. Situated right in the heart of Shillong, it is within walking distance of shopping streets, local markets, salons, cafés, small malls, and spas. Everything I needed was conveniently nearby, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. The buffet breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious dishes that catered to different tastes. It was one of the highlights of my stay, and I looked forward to it every morning. What truly made the experience memorable was the hospitality. Every member of the staff I interacted with was warm, polite, and genuinely helpful. Their friendliness and willingness to assist made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The rooms were comfortable, well-maintained, and provided a relaxing retreat after a day of sightseeing. The overall ambience of the hotel strikes a nice balance between modern comfort and the charm of Shillong. The only downside was the room rate, which was quite steep during the period I visited. However, considering the excellent service, prime location, quality facilities, and overall experience, I felt it was worth the price. Overall, I had an amazing stay at Vivanta Meghalaya and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shillong, whether for business or leisure. If you’re looking for comfort, outstanding hospitality, and a central location, this hotel is an excellent choice.

I would like to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the wonderful support extended to us by the entire Vivanta Shillong team, especially Kelly and Nadeen. We had a reservation at Vivanta Shillong from 22nd to 25th August for two rooms. From the very beginning, our experience with the team was exceptional. The communication during the booking process was warm, prompt, and extremely helpful. Unfortunately, due to the uncertainty surrounding the situation in Assam and Meghalaya, we ultimately had to cancel our trip, keeping the safety of our family as our highest priority. What truly stood out, however, was the way Kelly and Nadeen supported us throughout this difficult decision. They kept us updated with the latest situation on the ground, patiently answered our questions, and went above and beyond to assist us with the cancellation. Their approach was not merely that of a hotel team handling a reservation—it reflected genuine care, empathy, and concern for the safety and well-being of their guests. In an age where customer service can often feel transactional, the humane and compassionate support demonstrated by Kelly and Nadeen was truly refreshing. They made us feel that our safety mattered more than our booking. Vivanta Shillong should be extremely proud to have colleagues like Kelly and Nadeen. Their professionalism, empathy, and integrity are a wonderful reflection of the values that a hospitality brand should stand for. Although we could not make the trip this time, our experience with the Vivanta Shillong team has left a very positive impression on us. We sincerely hope this appreciation reaches Kelly, Nadeen, and the entire team as recognition of their outstanding customer service and strong professional ethics. Our group of nine had an absolutely incredible stay at Vivanta Meghalaya Shillong, and we highly recommend this beautiful property to everyone visiting the area! Managing a large group can be challenging, but the staff handled us seamlessly. Ambika mam from the reception providing truly exceptional, unforgettable service from the moment we arrived. A huge thank you also to Mercy and Ibadahun at the front desk for their warm efficiency during our check-in, and to Rajesh in the restaurant for taking such wonderful care of our large table during meals. Every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, making this a perfect destination for families, groups, or solo travelers seeking flawless hospitality in Shillong.

Perfect location close to the market, check in was smooth, deluxe rooms are very good but superior rooms are really cramped and very small in size (could not get deluxe room on 1 night as the hotel was sold out). Food is good staff at the restaurant needs to be more professional. Overall it’s one of the best in Shillong. Thank you.. chef ganesh. Rajesh..

One of the best places to stay at Shillong. Located exactly near the main market crossing of famous police bazar, but still away from the noise. With Taj hospitality nothing to complain about that. The breakfast spread in the beautiful restaurant was really good. Rooms very spacious. Spa was excellent. Its luxury at the cost of budget. Really good for families & groups.

Ms Phiba had made my checkin fast and hasselfree. As well as she had arrange early checkin. Ms Phiba Sod from house keeping had taken care of my preferences and refile my steel bottle time to time. In Mynt during dinning time Mr Federick Khyllep had welcome me. Ms Kritika Lyngura had arrange a comfortable table for me and taken my order. Ms Iba Kongsti, fealty and sunita Rai had served me the delicious food. I had enjoy my dinner. At Breakfast time in Mynt Mr Diwakar had arrange a table for me and again Ms Sunita rai had attended me. Ms Jenny pepare a strong cup of tea on my request. Ms Nitisha & Grace had served me the food. Mr Mebanri Kyrpang M. Toi had handle my laugage carefully. Ms Darisa had made my check out. Ms Ame Labet had seeoff with her cute smile.

Centrally located just minutes away from Police bazaar.Great hospitality and a delectable breakfast spread .The miniature takeaway Skin perfumes were thoughtful.

Centrally located in Police Bazaar ... 10/10 for the location , rooms , food , buffet spread .. Staff Services are very impressive .
