Very nice room then nice service, nice location nice view, I like so much this hotel, next time when I go shimla agains I will stay this hotel sure

Location is best..! Food is good..! But rooms needs serious upgradation according to the todays time.!

We as a family of four had stayed in Deluxe room which is very outdated and required immediate renovation.Hotel with a 4 star rating but still operating keys for door opening and once you enter a very old hotel 20 years back with old furnished tiles bathroom tubs and outdated room's.Be ware and careful as rooms images are not genuinely displayed in any online site.Although hotel highlight is there restaurant with mouth watering foods and good Vibes.

This is a very old hotel built in the year 1871. Willow banks located right in the heart of the mall Road, just two minute walking. Once you come out of the. The hotel offers more than just a stay. They offer a beautiful cafeteria, a sky lounge, a brewery with an interesting terrace with hanging rope sitting with a spectacular view of Shimla city. The hotel have good restaurants and serves tasty food. They also have a gelato and a cake shop, which has some interesting deserts to offer. The room is designed in an old way, but very well kept and maintained. The bathroom is decent Had a bath tub, which look little old. The cherry on the cake was the balcony, we had selected the room with the balcony. It has spectacular view of Shimla cityscape. Overall, the hotel was amazing. A good experience. Also, Survey welcome drink on your arrival. Once you step out of the hotel on your right, they have the aundh cafeteria on your left. You have club restaurant and all Hotel got everything within the premises. Your are bang on the mall Road, so you take left or right you are in the shopping area, you can enjoy your walks on the mall shopping or eating local delicacy.

Lovely hotel attached to micro brewery. Very good food and selection for both breakfast and evening meals. Great beers. And first hotel in India I’ve had with a bath (5th so far)

Stayed here with family and had a really nice experience overall. The property has a classic old-world charm — you can feel the heritage of the place, but it’s still equipped with modern comforts. We booked a premium room and it was quite large, clean, and had a beautiful view of the hills. The balcony seating was perfect for morning tea. The hotel is extremely convenient if you want to explore Shimla on foot — The Ridge, cafes, and shops are all nearby. Service was consistently good — staff were courteous and quick to respond whenever we needed anything. Also loved having multiple dining options within the hotel, especially after long days of walking around. If you’re looking for a centrally located hotel with character and good service, this is a solid choice for both families and couples.

We stayed at Hotel Willow Banks for 3 nights and honestly, the biggest win is the location — right on Mall Road. You can just step out and you’re in the middle of everything, yet the hotel itself feels peaceful once you’re inside. Our room was spacious with a lovely valley view — waking up to that was a highlight of the trip. The room had all the essentials and was quite comfortable, especially with the heaters working well in the cold weather. We tried breakfast as well as dinner at Eighteen71 and everything was fresh and well prepared. What stood out most was the staff — very warm, polite, and always ready to help, whether it was arranging a porter from the lift or guiding us for local sightseeing. Overall, a great mix of location, comfort, and hospitality. Would definitely stay here again when in Shimla.
