The staffs are really friendly and superb, the atmosphere is very good with the aroma scents and the room is spacious and clean! The shared bathroom turns out to be a private onsen which you can use for 30 mins/section , and if you booked a ryokan type, there’s a in-room toilet. I would recommend for everyone who visit around izu area to stay here The only weakness of this place is a little far from the station , but it’s really worth for the price ;-)

Location wise is not too bad. It’s about a 10min walk from the train station. And right next to the Shimoda tourist information centre. It’s a short walk to the harbour front - being near the ocean is nice. There’s a 7-11 about a 7mjn walk away. And the park next to the ocean is very near too and very nice to walk. The ryokan doesn’t have a lift though, so take note if you’re bringing heavy luggage.

This hotel is relatively small in this area, but it's relatively new. However, there are a lot of stairs to climb, and even luggage needs to be carried up and down the stairs. This is unacceptable for ordinary people, especially tourists. To be honest, there are very few things provided, and you have to run up and down the stairs. How is the service for a day tourist? This is a very honest and comprehensive evaluation. We are a budget hotel, but compared with other budget hotels, the service here is really poor.

It is about a 12-minute walk from Shimoda Station, and a 5-minute walk after crossing the bridge. Although it is on the roadside, it is very quiet. The room is Japanese style, with a separate toilet, very clean and refreshing. The shower and separate bath are together on the second floor, and you can enjoy it by yourself, which is very friendly to people. The boss is very enthusiastic and nice.

The hotel is modern, very clean and fully self-service, and there is also a hot spring with a private room. There is free parking. The fish market is just a 2-3 minute walk away (after 11:00, the menu will be ready and you can order everything)

We were able to reserve the large public bath exclusively, and the room was very clean and nice!!

How should I put it? This is definitely the concept of a youth hostel, but the youth hostel I booked for 1,890 yuan didn't even have breakfast, so it was not worth it. There was no way I could book another hotel because I had stayed in a newly renovated hostel run by an elderly couple that was over 60 square meters the night before. It cost the same amount, and that was super value! This is super not worth it 😓, and there is no elevator. The area is very small, just like the Japanese style. The bathroom is shared, although there is a small hot spring pool that is ok, but everything else is average. The quilt cover and mattress are that kind of brown, which is the color of the bed in a hotel that I fear the most. If it's not white, you can't tell whether it's clean or dirty. In short, it's okay to stay within 500 yuan. In the summer, you must check the weather. It rained heavily for two days when we went there 🌧️. We couldn't go out, and it was very inconvenient to take a taxi. Just for reference.

The hotel is very cost-effective for off-peak travel. There is a public bathroom but it is very closed. The coin-operated laundry and drying facilities are also good. There is a bus stop opposite the hotel and a fish market not far away. It is also a good choice to have a breakfast set meal there in the morning.

There are not many accommodation options in Shimoda, but this one is pretty good. Although it is a bit far from the JR station, it is easy to find on the main road. It is also close to the beach, clean and sanitary, the room is quite large, and the price-performance ratio is high.

The rooms are clean and tidy. The building is stylish and smells nice. The hot springs are warm and just right. The staff are friendly. Everything is within walking distance. You can also rent bicycles. It was great.

Both the building and the room were stylish, clean, and comfortable. The price was reasonable and you could even take a dip in the hot springs, so I think this is the perfect place for a casual solo trip!

The overall facilities were clean, and the onsen was impressive. All the staff were friendly, and they explained the rules well. The hotel has vending machines, so you can still have some food when you cannot go outside to eat. Even though it is pretty close to the train station, the Google map can be confusing. So I recommend you to look at the blue billboard-like sign near the hotel and use it as a milestone.
