Hotels near Mock, Shimoda

If you want to experience a Japanese-style family hotel, this is a very good choice! The hotel is located between Shimoda City and Kawazu Town, very close to the sea. My wife and I booked half board, and we were very satisfied with the food at the hotel! We stayed for three nights and the seafood variety was different every day and was very fresh and healthy. The owner and his wife are very hospitable. They print out the bus timetable for us every day, call us a taxi, and chat with us. They hope we have a good time. If I have to say something that needs improvement, if the WI-FI is better, it would be perfect! A very recommended Japanese hotel!

It was well-located hotel near a lot of beaches, it was a little bit old, but it’s okay.

Quite affordable considering its proximity to the beach. The place gives a homey vibe. It’s clean and quiet. It’s run by Aoki-san and Keiko-san, a really nice couple. Those traveling by public transport shouldn’t be worried about access as long as you check the bus schedule of the day. We got lucky going back to Shimoda station since Aoki-san was also headed there and gave us a ride. Definitely going back! ありがとうございました Aoki-san. 🥰

The staffs are really friendly and superb, the atmosphere is very good with the aroma scents and the room is spacious and clean! The shared bathroom turns out to be a private onsen which you can use for 30 mins/section , and if you booked a ryokan type, there’s a in-room toilet. I would recommend for everyone who visit around izu area to stay here The only weakness of this place is a little far from the station , but it’s really worth for the price ;-)

The view was really good and if there is no rain the sunset and sunrise is good too, but even tho its raining hard i enjoy staying at the hotel, the staffs are friendly and good at corporating and the breakfast is really good and next i plan to bring my family 😁

Very nice hotel; we had a great room with a sea view and lots of windows. Breakfast was good, but we would have liked to have the Japanese breakfast, which wasn't available. We couldn't eat dinner without a reservation.

Nice private beach with rooms facing the ocean! Big breakfast buffet. It’s a surfer’s spot!

All what we need…staff very friendly and kind

I've been here many times, and this time I came with my family for a vacation. The buffet is still good, but it's really hard to book a room. It's best to book a month in advance. A week in advance, most rooms with breakfast and dinner buffets are sold out.
