Location not bad , receptionist wasn’t that polite to my friend

Water pressure was too low. No water out/very little when shower

Just a short 5min walk from the station… a nice supermarket just behind the hotel …

Room was big and we had a table and chairs to sit around to have snacks

Location was about 7 minutes walk from the Shingu railway station. Safety was good , as each floor is accessible only based on your room number. The twin rooms were also spacious. The coin laundry was on second floor and was very convenient. The bathroom had a weird smell. Maybe , it was due to some recycled water being used in the closet . Or it could be due to the old cleaning clothes. The toiletries were also not refilled daily. You have to take the toiletries by yourself from the hotel reception. The buffet breakfast was good as it also had some local cuisine items in addition to western food items. But breakfast timings is only till 9 am, which is inadequate if you are traveling with kids

The hotel facilities are relatively old. The relatively better one is the mountain building. The cave hot spring faces the Pacific Ocean and the scenery is very good, but there are too many people. The most satisfying thing is the dinner buffet. It is the first time that I have encountered free drinking of alcohol. I drank beer and fruit wine to my heart's content😋

This hotel is probably the best in Shingu. It is a 5-minute walk from the station. There is a large public bath with free massage chairs. The rooms are also OK. There is a delicious pot-baked udon restaurant nearby. Overall, it is very good.

The room is big and the hotel is not too far from the station Stayed for two nights. It was quite quiet. There is a sporting goods store nearby. Overall it's pretty good👍 and the hotel is very new and the service is also very good.

Very satisfied! I stayed here for one night while hiking on the Kumano Kodo. The location is very convenient, close to Shingu Station, and several nearby Kumano Kodo check-in spots are very close and convenient. The room is quite large and clean. Satisfied!

The room is large and close to the station, so it's very convenient to take the JR and the bus. There are vending machines for buying drinks and instant noodles, as well as self-service microwaves, washing machines, massage chairs, and irons. It's so comfortable to take a bath after hiking every day. The uncle at the front desk also helped me exchange change, and there is a big supermarket next to it where you can buy all kinds of food. A very cost-effective hotel.

For those who are going to walk the Kumano Kodo, this hotel can be regarded as a good place to rest on the way. Because it is located in the central part of Shingu, if you have half a day, you can also visit this small town that seems to have a lot less population. I was going to the last stop - Okumo Toetsu in Kii Katsuura, and used it as a transition hotel on the last day. The overall feeling is a bit old, but there is still a bathhouse, which is very warm. The breakfast is better than expected, and there is also a DIY part (because I caught the 7 o'clock bus in the morning, I ate some in a hurry).
