Kaigaku Onsen Resort Shirahama

The room faces the harbor and is very comfortable. The area is very quiet at night. It's a 15-minute walk from the seafood market. Senjojiki, Sandanbeki, and White Beach are all close together. The bus station is also very close, only ten minutes away. Secondly, the hotel's breakfast and dinner are very rich and attentive. I recommend everyone to try the kaiseki! The facilities in the room are very comprehensive and have a strong sense of ceremony. There are private baths and foot baths. It's so refreshing to soak in them after a day of strolling! The hotel also provides a bus shuttle service to the station, and free bicycles are available. I rented a bicycle and saw many beautiful views around the island. Finally, the owner, Lao Bai, is very hospitable and will drive us out to play. The two staff members can also communicate in Chinese, so it's basically barrier-free. This was the perfect hotel for our trip to Japan! The service was exceptionally attentive. The investor is Chinese, and the owner, Lao Bai, is incredibly welcoming. You can add him on WeChat, and he'll pick you up at the station when it's not busy. Several staff members speak Chinese. This was also the most satisfying meal of our trip to Japan. I highly recommend booking a kaiseki set menu. After just a few bites, I decided to have dinner at the hotel the next day. Perhaps it was off-season, as I was the only one dining there.

Average value for money! 1. The room had a 🈚️ shower! Even though I booked a comfortable ocean view room for over ¥2000/night, the room didn't have a shower. I had to go to the large public bath to shower... 2. The room was poorly cleaned... The teacups in the tea set were never washed (tea stains on the cups 🈶). 3. The breakfast, highly recommended on Xiaohongshu... was very, very average. Sorry! It was really average! 4. Getting around was inconvenient... Not having a car was a bit of a hassle, 🤔🤔. 5. The room facilities were trying to be Japanese-style, but there's a lot of room for improvement... 6. It is very convenient to take the bus to the beach and the Three Broken Walls, but the waiting time is too long. There are not many places to eat around. There is a pretty good ramen restaurant near the bus station. I suggest you either go back to the hotel after eating or book dinner at the hotel. The hotel actually has a shuttle bus that can take you to Shirahama Station. You just need to make an appointment with the front desk in advance, which is great. It's a bit inconvenient that you can't take a shower in the house, you can only go to the hot spring, but the hot spring is open from 6 to 9 in the morning. If you get up late, you may not be able to take a shower. We didn't dare to try it. A full meal for two people at the seafood market only costs 300 RMB. To go to Nachi Taisha Shrine and Kumano Kodo, you have to calculate the bus and Kuroshio Current time. It is still worthwhile to go there and back in one day. It is much more convenient than Kii-Katsuura. I stayed here for four days and three nights. I went to different places every day and came back to soak in hot springs to relieve fatigue. It is very cost-effective. By the way, Conan fans will feel very good.

Although I only stayed in Shirahama for one night, I canceled two hotels in succession and came to Haiyue after struggling. You can drink up to 6 bottles of drinks a day and it is impossible to finish them. Pola toiletries have two series from makeup remover to moisturizer. There are also pigeons for children. The bathing supplies are so meticulous that they provide socks and silk eye masks. The bathing pool is super clean, and there are all kinds of ice creams for free, and the meals provided are also very rich. Despite his busy schedule, Lao Bai also drove part-time as a tour guide to take us to visit the scenic spots. He showed his sincerity in every aspect. He is already thinking about coming to Haiyue next time when the weather is hot.

I highly recommend this place when visiting Shirahama. It's great value for money and offers a lot of free stuff. It's also very new and clean. The experience was excellent. I wish the food could be a little better. Breakfast was fantastic. Dinner was a bit pricey.

離海鮮市場非常近，海景很美，房間也不小。老闆和服務人員都很熱情。定了早晚餐體驗很好，酒店的温泉也很不錯
