Shirahama Onsen Minshuku A Course Reviews

Just a few minutes walk going to the Main Shirahama beach and you can either just get off at Asahigaoka Bus Stop roughly 5 minutes from the building or Shirahama Bus Center Bus stop and walk for about 10mins. The staff are the owners and they are kind and very approachable. The room is actually spacious even for a solo traveler. It's a tatami room so it feels super homey. You get your own toilet and wash basin. Only the bath/shower area is shared. Cleanliness is unquestionable and it's accessible to all scenic spots. And you can actually just bike around the whole area. I rented doudou bike for it. 😊Will do it again.

The hygiene is pretty good, considering it's an older guesthouse. It has a hot spring. ♨️

The ONSEN ryokan is located a bit off the street but Shirahama center is very small. You are able to walk from the Ryokan to the center and Shirahama beach within 10 mins. There are 2 supermarkets nearby. One of them opens 24/7. The decoration in the Ryokan looks very showa style. The staff here are friendly and helpful.

A truly special hotel. I had assumed, based on the name Minshuku, that it would be a guesthouse with just a few rooms. In fact, it's an older, six-story building. The lobby is like stepping back into the 1970s. The rooms are wonderful and very spacious. It has its own onsen (hot spring) and is in a very quiet location.

Take the bus from Shirahama Station to Asahigaoka Station, and it's a short walk from there. It's not far from Shirahama Beach, Engetsu Island, Senjojiki, and Sandanbeki. The Japanese-style rooms are large and clean, and there's a large public bath. Very nice!

As I write this review, my thoughts are overflowing. I recall all my experiences in Japan, the diverse people I met, and the fun I had with friends. I don't know what to write; perhaps it's just my personality—not good with words. But I enjoy quietly caring for others. First, I want to thank Mr. Yamamoto for his warm hospitality. I greeted this gentleman in my limited Japanese, knowing only a few phrases. I wanted to say something, but my language skills are limited, which is a pity. Meeting is truly fate. I don't know if I'll meet my landlord again in Japan, but I think I will if I return to Shirahama. As the saying goes, "Though the room is humble, its virtue is fragrant," and it is this traditional tatami that carries on a long-standing culture. I don't know what kind of work I'll do in the future, or whether I'll be happy, but during my time in Shirahama, I experienced what true life is. If you'd like to experience Japanese tatami, I think you should choose this guesthouse. There's also a hot spring, but unfortunately, my leg was injured, so I couldn't soak. Great accommodation experience. I thought that a B&B hotel with a price of more than 200 yuan a night should not be very good, but it was higher than expected. The location is actually OK. It takes less than ten minutes to walk to Shirahama Beach. It is also very close to the bus station. You can walk there in three to five minutes. Back to the hotel itself, the room is actually quite large, which is more than enough for one or two people. It is a tatami with a quilt on top. The air-conditioning and the bathroom are quite clean. Although it is an older hotel, it is really clean. It feels like living in Nobita Nobi's house. The attitude of the front desk staff is also very good. The old grandfather and grandmother are very patient. They lent me the charger immediately when I forgot to bring it. It is worth mentioning that Shirahama Onsen has a large bathhouse and an open-air shower. It is very suitable for couples to travel or group travel. It is a bit hairy to live alone hahahaha. Overall, it is highly recommended. I will choose this hotel if I have the opportunity to come to Shirahama next time. Keep it up.

I originally thought the score was quite low and didn't have much hope, but it turned out to be unexpectedly good. For this price, you can also soak in hot springs, and the house is spotless and odorless. It is really worth it. I really like this old Japanese-style house. It feels better than a hotel.

The room is clean and cost-effective!

The tatami room had a sink (with toothbrushes) and a toilet, and was very comfortable. The hot spring in the building was spacious and comfortable.

榻榻米房間超級乾淨、整潔，有自己的衞生間，熱水壺、毛巾、浴衣、洗漱用品齊全。洗澡要去大浴場，但那兒有天然温泉泡湯，非常享受。 離公車站、海灘、圓月島都很近，周邊有24小時的大超市和許多餐廳，為出行提供了很大方便。 前台的老先生彬彬有禮，再將注意事項用英文備註，入住非常順利。

離海灘走路十來分鐘，不是在最靠近沙灘那條街，而是後面一條街，有點偏僻的地方。不過這個價格比沙灘邊的便宜多了，畢竟還是在那個區域所以走路十分鐘以內也有24h超市和便利店。 民宿比較老，所以設施和衞生也就那樣。公共浴室的氣泡温泉挺舒服的。 總的來説就是贏在了位置和價格上。

距離公交站很近，公交去哪裡都很方便，去沙灘甚至可以步行。設施濃濃的昭和風，挺老舊的，我從裡到外專門拍了一些照片，温泉很不錯，不僅有男湯也有女湯，設施雖老，但完整好用，勝在價格便宜，出行方便。門口的白髮大爺雖衹會日語，但是他會用紙給你寫清楚注意事項。沒有一點問題。人很好，我退房後把行李暫存民宿也沒收費。
