The hotel is charming with a lovely restaurant in the courtyard and comfortable beds. The downside were the bathrooms - there was a terrible smell in all 3 of the bathrooms (we had a single and two double rooms). In the single room the toilet and shower were in a glassed off cubicle. In the single room the air con did not work. The meals in the restaurant are absolutely delicious!

Busy hotel with a nice courtyard. Reasonable location, short walk to town. It's not my vibe with the wooden look but apparently is quite traditional. Bedroom....Hard bed, a sheet folded in half (make bed yourself) and no blanket. There's an air cooler in room. Bathroom small, mirror on door distorts your image! My shower did not get hot, just above cold at best. I probably wouldn't choose this place but was on a group tour. Restaurant was really good. Music stopped around 10.30pm No water bubbler to refill bottles.

Hotel Tradirja has small rooms & dito windows, if you are lucky with a balcony. Rooms ate facing a friendly courtyard where also the extensive breakfast is served. You can eat here as well, some quite good traditional dishes but dont try the dry lamb. Hotel staff ok but restaurant staff members mostly unfriendly

We stayed here for two nights and it was perfect. A charming courtyard set out with tables for dining although, unfortunately, it was very cold when we stayed so we had to eat inside in the beautiful, panelled dining-room. The bedrooms are a bit small but perfectly appointed and traditionally decorated. The owner and staff were welcoming and informative. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruits, yogurts, cold meats, salads, pastries, cooked food alongside the fire in the main room.Dinner, too, was excellent - I cannot fault this small hotel.

The courtyard is attractive, but our rooms were uncomfortably small and dark. The bathrooms (excluding the shower) were the size of an aeroplane lavatory. We had a reasonable dinner in the courtyard one evening, but breakfast was disappointing. This was the least satisfactory place we stayed during our week in Albania and not what we'd expected from other reviews. It's more a backpacker hostel than a hotel.

Lovely hotel, good food, nice room, can't sleep - it is 10:15pm and the loud music is still playing. The location is perfect and the decor is charming in this 300+ year old hotel But I can't sleep. I have to be up at 7am, it is 10:15pm and I can't sleep.

The hotel is located in an old traditional home with lots of rooms surrounding a central courtyard. The rooms are nice and clean with all you need but basic. The restaurant is SUPERB. We were there on a weekend and there was live music until 11pm…. For some it can be really annoying for us it was great

I stayed for one night as part of a group tour. It’s a quirky hotel which was founded in 1694. My room was on the ground floor off the courtyard, with a comfortable bed and a small bathroom with plenty of hot water and a good shower. The shampoo/shower gel is the wonderful black olive type that’s available in hammam and there’s a small hairdryer in the bathroom. The wifi was good and there was a fridge in the room. Breakfast is a selection of pastries and cooked items. I had fresh yogurt with walnuts, halva, strawberries and cherries. They serve filter coffee and mountain tea. The hotel is not far from the central pedestrian area, yet the room was very quiet. I’d stay again.

Hotel Tradita lives up to the reviews, location is a five minute walk away from where the bus dropped me off and where I had to take the bus, when I left Shkoder. The front desk was 100%welcoming, the room was amazing, especially I only paid $50 USD a night and breakfast was included, which was a feast, as for the room the Air Con worked well and there was a sense of style. Fantastic!!!
