When we arrived there was no one at the desk and no sign. We waited several minutes before I finally looked and found the person sitting in the back on their phone. The hotel and room were clean which was great! The shower soap dispensers did not work tho and the breakfast food was cold. We’ve stayed at this hotel many times and I feel it is slowly going downhill, which is unfortunate. It’s all in the details.

Excellent front staff, breakfast staff, and housekeeping staff -- very helpful and kind. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Great pool and fitness area. Great restaurant on site (selection/price).

The hotel staff was nice. The pool area was not very clean. The hotel beds were clean but out bathroom was not very clean. WE stayed there because it was the only thing available.

Older hotel than next door, but much better breakfast and love having a restaurant in the building. I have stayed at both. I always choose this best western.

We picked this for proximity to freeway traveling north to Duluth. That’s good for that. Seems like a safe property with good parking. It’s currently undergoing a renovation with lots of plastic hanging, so you definitely should not pick this if you’re looking for a destination property for a wedding or such. It was OK for an overnight stay. I hope they get things cleaned up quickly or cannot recommend.
Breakfast is fair. Gym is very rundown and needs equipment updates and repairs.

The shower had no tread or mat in the bottom of the shower. I fell getting out of the tub. No major injury but very upsetting. Thought about complaining at the front desk, but didn’t think they’d care.
