We had a voucher for a meal in the Antler restaurant, so booked our table for 2 on the website. Met at the bar by lovely young lady who showed us to a table. Drinks and food orders taken after a few minutes. Food arrived and well presented. Huge portions of Yorkshire pudding meal with chicken and a burger with side of chips, both very tasty meals. Felt terrible as I couldn’t finish my meal as it was so huge. Great service from male staff member who cleared our table and took our dessert orders. Desserts well presented and extremely tasty too. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

Just back from our 2nd stay at Derwent Manor which was for my Birthday. Stayed in the Loft Suite this time and was just breathtaking. From arrival to leaving the staff where Amazing, couldn’t do more for you. They even put balloons on the bed which wasn’t asked for till we literally arrived, by my husband, a gorgeous touch. The suite was beautiful having its own separate lounge and Stunning bathroom and Oh private lift, which was even better as my husband has mobility issues. Just want to take this time to thank all of the staff from reception, to Prego and the Antler bar for making our stay memorable. Already looking to book for my husbands Birthday in May and can’t recommend this hotel enough just Stunningly Beautiful.

Would just like to say my husband and I booked a room here last night, when we entered room we found it very cold. It seemed the there was a problem with the heating in some rooms. In place was a small electric heater but we were still dissatisfied. I went to reception and spoke with a lovely man who appreciated my concern and offered us a move into one of the cottages. It was lovely and cosy and we were so appreciative so just wanted to say Thankyou not sure what the man was called.

We had our wedding here on the 30/11/24 in the grand hall! It was the best day - everything was perfect. I can not fault the staff one bit they went above and beyond. The food was 10/10. Micheal (our wedding coordinator) and all the wedding coordinators were amazing and made our vision come to life for our special day. We would highly recommend booking this venue for your wedding day! We can’t wait to come back on our 1 year anniversary. We wish we could do it all again.

We stayed here in the summer, in ‘The Loft’. I remember visiting this hotel prior to the extensive refurbishment and the interiors are now completely different and GORGEOUS! The Loft room felt like such a treat, with it’s own private lift up to access, a copper bath and a separate snug area…with amazing views out to the valley. We had such a lovely night away including a fabulous dinner in the restaurant. I work in the travel industry and the rate on this room is incredible value for money for the quality. We are staying in one of the cottages next month and we are really looking forward to another amazing stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for couples or families.

Visited recently on a seasonal package deal. The room was nicely furnished with lovely views but the lighting could have been a tad brighter. The bathroom was very modern but the fancy basin taps seemed to prioritise form over function. Hadn’t pre-booked a table for dinner so had to dine quite late. The food was nicely presented but the ‘unhurried’ service was a little too slow. Service at breakfast was quicker and the selection on offer excellent. A few minor quibbles but overall the package was excellent value for money.

We come here every year for our family holiday and it’s good to see standards have remained high, The rooms are lovely and clean and have everything you need, staff are always super friendly and always willing to help anyway they can. The food has always been amazing and this hasn’t changed shout out to the kitchen staff for always providing high quality service. Perfect location for a lovely chilled time away with lovely views and a highly maintained building. Keep up the good work guys and gals!
