Muxuan Hotel (Shouxian Shouzhou Ancient City Wall)

It's very convenient to take a taxi from the high-speed rail station into the old town. It was quite cold at night, so I didn't explore much. I visited the museum during the day, which was really nice. The hotel is self-service, which is very convenient. There are several decent restaurants nearby.

I passed through on my way back from the holiday and booked a day in advance to experience the night view of the ancient town. It was beautiful. The price was acceptable during the holiday, cheaper than other places. I didn't have high requirements for accommodation. Disposable toiletries were provided. The location is near the West Gate, which is quite convenient. There are many affordable restaurants nearby. The ancient town has a lively atmosphere and is suitable for leisurely exploration.

The bed was so comfortable! It was bouncy, soft, and perfect for jumping around in. It was my favorite hotel in Shouxian County! They even had beautiful Hanfu (traditional Han clothing)! The space was also very large, cozy, and comfortable. Highly recommended!

The bathroom shower area and sink in the room were quite dirty. Also, the room with the projector I booked stated in the details that it had a video membership, but it didn't. I contacted the front desk and they said they didn't have a membership. Even if I projected my own video membership, I could only watch it for a few minutes, and I would have to buy a new membership to watch it further.

I booked this hotel at the last minute (more like a guesthouse). The overall experience was average, suitable for travelers with modest accommodation requirements and a focus on value. **Convenient Location:** Located in the center of Shouxian Old Town, the hotel is surrounded by convenience stores and a food street, making it easy to find food and shop. However, rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy early in the morning; I recommend choosing a room further inside. **Room Size:** The furniture and decor show signs of age, and the air conditioning is slightly noisy. However, the beds and bathroom were very clean, and the towels and sheets had no odor, which is commendable. **Front Desk:** The receptionist proactively reminded me of the Wi-Fi password during check-in and added me on WeChat for concierge service. They were patient in answering any questions. However, perhaps due to limited staff, check-in outside of service hours requires advance contact, which is slightly inconvenient. **As a two-star guesthouse,** it doesn't have many highlights, but it also doesn't have any major flaws. For around 100 yuan, it offers clean bedding and a convenient location, suitable for short stays or budget-conscious travelers.

The room was generally nice, with good facilities, but it lacked a window and the bed was a bit hard. Otherwise, it was fine. Overall, the price was reasonable for a business trip.
