The room has an extremely noisy air conditioner. The reception front counter seems to take 25 dollar deposit but there’s no receipt to indicate amount to be refunded when checking out. And I was just informed that return deposit will be informed by email but there was no email. Just unprofessional.

In my 2 day stay we had to switch rooms because the bathroom was not very clean or maybe it was because of the oldness of a hotel. The toilet stopped up after one use. The television sound was as if you were listening thru a transitor radio. The next rooms tv had no sound at all. I have stayed there before, less than a year ago and don't recall it being that run down. Oh and may I say the parking was tight.

Worst experience of our life we went on a family trip to Shreveport and as soon as we booked the hotel we were about 25 min max away. It was way past 4:30 and our room was still not ready. We tried canceling it so that we could go across the street and  immediately their attitude changed they became very Angry when we asked if we could cancel. When we got assigned to our room we got a single bed for two kids two adults and two older kids they lied and said we had eight people and it was only six of us we’ve done this many times gone to hotels where we ran out a suite and there is a bed and a couch and everybody sleeps perfectly fine. They claim we smell like ********* and we had 4 kids with us… his staff smell like ********* his hallway smell like ********* the hotel smelled old nasty and moldy. I went and asked if I could get corporate’s number and he yelled at me and said he was the owner a big big man sitting in the front acting like he’s the owner and saying he was not going to refund us and he was going to have us kicked out, mind you we lost $200.57 I third-party company couldn’t do anything for us in the hotel we’re not l refund us at all. He claimed we had eight kids and that we broke policy rules. We did not even get to stay the night. The hotel owner acted very rude I’ve worked at a Holiday Inn for years and never got treated this way. Dead roaches were in the suite that they booked us in. Front desk had nasty crumbs from food and bugs dead all over the place. Thank you Shreveport for the good stay. I would never in my life again book in the Holiday Inn in Shreveport. Worst experience and mistake and waste of money.
