Lovely friendly & helpful staff, rooms were clean, bed was nice & comfortable. Freeview channels television. Bathroom well equiped with nice fluffy quality towels, shamppoo & body wash fine. Only room gripe was the fridge which was poor quality. Breakfast 1st class with quality products

Great experience overall! The room was very clean, neat, and surprisingly spacious. Modern facilities and comfortable bedding. The only catch is that it's located pretty far from the main city center, so having a car is definitely recommended. Otherwise, fantastic value for money!

Around the lift on the second floor smelled really bad, no remote for TV so it was useless, breakfast was chaotic, no seating, food kept running out some completely and was never replaced, back was dry and very over cooked, limited selection, one person trying to work the whole room and looking really stressed which is hardly surprising. Overall bd experience won’t be returning

A last minute reservation for 3 nights over bank holiday meant we ended up in HI business park over the weekend end . What a find ! The place was excellent and the staff very kind and helpful . We had free parking and free breakfast . Lots of choice for breakfast including gluten free and vegetarian .  Also a bar for the evening and a limited menu so you didn’t need to go out for an evening meal. The place was quiet , had a lift and a lovely seating area as well as the dining area . Places to walk . A petrol station with shop and a coffee shop a short drive away .

A nice touch is the free hot drinks (coffee, tea, and chocolate) available from the machine at any time, which feels very accommodating. The room is spacious. Sleep quality is good thanks to a comfortable bed, though the furnishings are noticeably old and could use an update. While the décor may feel dated, the essentials—cleanliness, comfort, and service—are well covered. Overall: A practical choice for travelers who value convenience, helpful staff, and a good night’s sleep, even if the style is a bit behind the times.

The hotel was very well run, the staff were friendly and attentive and the service was exceptional. The hotel offers excellent value for money and the food served was of very good quality. Overall, I recommend this hotel for anyone looking to visit and stay over in Shrewsbury.

The hotel is a little tired and in need of refurbishment in places. The staff were very friendly, especially considering they were having to work on NYE! The room was warm, the bedding/towels were clean and breakfast was good. We couldn’t connect to WiFi during our stay until we were in the car park ready to leave
