I choose the hotel mainly because of the private beach they have and like many reviews mentioned, it is clean. However, the most disappointing part is the hospitality of the hotel, their staffs are not welcoming and can feel that there's no proper training provided on customer service and hospitality.

The place got its private area for beach. Good view from our room. Breakfast serves a variety of food. Room cleanliness can be better improved.

Overall the facilities is good, however the lift of the building need to be improve, when is peak hrs May need to wait 5mins times. And the room door is difficult to push.

Largely disappointed. Things old and many facilities falling apart. TV control does not work, gym nobody around and can’t switch on the air con, and the children’s playroom smells very moldy. Restaurants all closed, bare minimum maintenance. Originally if everything works would be wonderful. But not well maintained. It’s like a 3 star hotel with a 5 star rating. Not recommended.

Lift needs to be improved..it needs to be upgraded because lift is too old and weird sound..overall is okay only lift needs to be improved..

I recently stayed at Thistle Hotel ] for short vacation, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel had excellent facilities, friendly staff, and a great location.
