Unfortunately, the hotel did not meet my expectations regarding value for money. The bathroom looked outdated—probably from the 1980s—with visible mold and a poorly constructed shower area. The bed frames were partially torn, giving the room a worn-down appearance.
Even at half the price, the stay would still not have felt fair. It seems the owner has not invested in renovations despite charging premium prices. The room was very basic—barely furnished—and simply offering a bottle of water does not justify the star rating.
In my personal opinion, this is not a three-star hotel. Two stars would be more appropriate at best. If a guest chooses a hotel based on its star rating, they will likely be disappointed in this case.
Breakfast was average, nothing special.
On the positive side, the staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, which I appreciated. But overall, I would not book this hotel again unless major improvements are made.

Very nice hotel. Every one was very friendly. The reception, staff, cooks, cleaning staff, bartender… lovely people! Good food, clean rooms. A swimmingpool where you can watch the sun rise whilst swimming in nice warm water. Very quiet neighbourhood. We loved every minute of our stay.

The swimming pool was the best, but unfortunately there was a window open which caused a very cool draft in the hall around the fantastic pool!

+ + + The Hotel is on the edge of a mountain hill, nearby downtown. There is plenty of free parking. Train station is about 10 minute walk. Room was nice, we had a nice view over the valley and beyond. Rooms are very quiet, no neighbour sounds at all. Bed was fine and didn't make any noice whenever you roll over. Shower was standard, but fine. Soap in dispenser was pleasant to have. New towels every day if you left them on the floor. Breakfast and diner was excellent, good food and plenty to choose from. With some changes everyday. Crew was friendly and very helpfull. Drinks in the evening were perfect. - - - De bar in the basement was closed. Which wasn't clear upfront to us. Walking to and from the hotel is a steep walk. After diner, during evening hours there was no snack available with your drinks.

We hebben een fantastische verblijf gehad in hotel Am Fang,nette schone kamers heerlijk zwembad,goede bowlingbaan lekker eten alles werd doorlopend aangevuld kort om heel fijn verblijf . absoluut voor herhaling vatbaar.het was een ultra all inclusive hotel, ideaal.

Via Voordeeluitjes hebben we een 4-daags all-inclusive arrangement geboekt. Gezien eerder op TA gelezen wisselende ervaringen een beetje op de gok geboekt. Vanuit de auto is de entree/receptie alleen via een steil holletje of een trap bereikbaar, vervelend voor gasten die slecht ter been zijn. In het hotel 2 goed werkende liften. De medewerker op de receptie was uiterst vriendelijk (net als het overige personeel) en was zelfs behulpzaam om de koffer uit de auto naar binnen te brengen. De panoramakamer is middelmatig groot met een zitje, wel veel vlekken in de vloerbedekking. Geen koffie of theevoorziening of een koelkastje op de kamer. Consumpties zijn gratis tussen 10 en 24, maar moeten wel gehaald worden in het restaurant op de 1e verdieping. In de kamer is ook geen airco, in de zomer zal het wsl erg warm worden op de kamer. De badkamer is toereikend groot met 2 wastafels en een grote spiegel. Een douchegordijn en geelgroene tegeltjes uit de 70-er jaren van de vorige eeuw kan echt niet. De badkamer is overigens wel schoon. Het ontbijt wordt vaak uitgebreid genoemd, maar is in dit geval behoorlijk standaard. Het avondeten vonden we ondermaats. Groenten zijn duidelijk kant en klare te gare conserveren. De eetzaal is groot en heeft meer de illusie van een kantine. Afruimen wordt adequaat gedaan, daarvoor rijdt zelfs een robot rond. Nadeel van een allin buffet is dat sommige gasten de volle winst willen halen en meerdere borden vol eten wegwerken. Er staan in het restaurant 2 goede koffiemachines. Van voorzieningen als zwembad of sauna hebben we geen gebruik gemaakt. Gezien het betaalde hebben we via Voordeeluitjes wel vaker betere dinersrrangementen geboekt. Ondanks het vriendelijke personeel en de mooie omgeving is voor ons Am Fang niet voor herhaling vatbaar
