Angkor Heart Bungalow Reviews

I'm Japanese and stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is located about a 20-minute tuk-tuk ride from Angkor Wat and 5 minutes from Pub Street. They provided a free transfer from the airport and arranged a driver ($20) and a Japanese-speaking guide ($70) for our Angkor Wat sunrise tour the next day. The prices were fair, and it was a great convenience as it saved us a lot of hassle. Our bungalow was near the road, so there was some traffic noise, but I was so tired that it didn't bother me when I fell asleep. The pool looked like it had some insects and leaves floating in it up close, so I didn't actually swim (haha). The inside of the bungalow was simple and generally a bit old, but perfectly fine for a short stay. Above all, Nana, one of the staff members who came to ask about our breakfast order the next morning, noticed that our flight was much later than the standard 12 PM checkout and kindly extended our checkout time until 5 PM. All the staff were incredibly kind, and it made for a wonderful trip. Thank you very much!

This hotel truly offered exceptional service, unlike anything I've encountered before. The complimentary one-way airport transfer was incredibly convenient. The staff were all genuinely kind, and the daily welcome fruit was a delightful touch. I was particularly touched to receive a souvenir at the end of my stay. They also provide a free tuk-tuk service, and the drivers were very friendly. Furthermore, for an additional fee, they organized tours and were incredibly accommodating even for same-day bookings, which led me to book a 3-day tour. Overall, it was a wonderfully comfortable and heartwarming stay.

The service was excellent. The hotel offered customized travel itineraries based on our requests, and the prices were very reasonable. The natural surroundings were also beautiful.

I could never say enough good things about this hotel! The location totally matched the pictures, including all the lights at night. The pool was warm and comfortable every day. Rooms were comfy and attractive with excellent A/C. Conveniently located across the street from the circus (highly recommend, BTW) and a very short tuktuk ride to all the attractions. And the SERVICE...I've never had service like this in all my Southeast Asia travels. Greeted every morning when we let and again when we returned. Constantly bringing fresh fruit and coffee to our rooms. Breakfast in the mornings, served out on our bungalow patios, was just delightful. Everyone was so helpful and so nice. I will DEFINITELY stay here again in Siem Reap, and recommend everyone I know to do the same. Don't miss out on this place!

We had a perfect stay at Angkor Heart Bungalow! The staff are exceptional - Na Na and all the team were so polite and friendly. The service was excellent and they even provided us with snacks and tea when we arrived back from a tour. The bungalows are clean and spacious, and it’s lovely being able to eat breakfast on your terrace. We enjoyed using the pool and the grounds were really beautiful. The property is a short tuk tuk ride from the city centre and free transport is provided in the evening. We booked a tour and driver to see the Angkor temples through the hotel, which we really enjoyed - our tuk tuk driver, Sokkhen, was really kind and friendly. Highly recommend staying at Angkor Heart Bungalow!

I really recommend this place to anyone planning to visit Siem Reap, especially if you have kids.

The hotel has beautiful Khmer-style bungalows including a terrace, where among other things breakfast is served (since there is no classic restaurant) - absolutely wonderful. But everything was topped by the outstanding service and the attentive staff, they were absolutely fabulous. They noticed when we got up and served the breakfast accordingly, they noticed when we went to the pool and brought towels for us, they saw us getting ready to go to town and got the Tuk tuk ready, best of all: when they saw us come back from our day‘s excursion on our daughters‘ birthday they came with a cake (including candles) and sang „Happy Birthday“- they were amazing. Clear recommendation!

Great little place. Bungalow style accommodations just outside the city centre and across the road from the Phrae Circus. Staff are very hospitable, friendly and helpful. They gave us snacks and drinks every time we came back from day tours.

Lovely mini resort of traditional wood bungalows grouped around two pools. Pleasant landscaping with trees and bushes. The bungalows are equipped with nice, well dimensioned bathrooms, bathtubs and glass showers. The breakfast is served at your private bungalow (On tablecloths!) Decent food is avalaible throughout the day. There is tolerable noise from trucks passing by at night. Staff is friendly and you will be given a small gift when checking out. Transportation by tuktuk to downtown is provided between 5-7p.m..

The landlady was incredibly kind, providing snacks during check-in and our stay, and even calling us back if we made a mistake with our takeout order. She was very thoughtful in every way. The hotel itself has a strong local character and is very close to the city center. The airport pick-up driver was also very nice; we felt at ease having him show us around the entire itinerary. It was a very enjoyable trip!

A very pleasant and quiet hotel. Ideal for families. It's located away from the city center, which is quite noisy. It's a 5-minute tuk-tuk ride from the center. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to and from the bus station or airport. They also have a free one-trip tuk-tuk service within a specific time frame. Outside of that time frame, there is a charge. Breakfast is decent and is served on the terrace of your bungalow. The staff is very attentive and keeps the hotel facilities very well maintained. Before you leave, they give you a small gift of local crafts.

Beautiful bungalows, nice and spacious with a large bathroom. Large beds and a private terrace. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything looks neat and clean.
