Tropical Breeze Resort

Our visit started off on the wrong foot when I received a text to check in and the room type was not what I booked. We booked a 1 King studio and we were given a 1 Queen suite. I immediately called and they explained that they did not have our reserved room type available but the Queen room was bigger and also had a sofa bed. I was skeptical, but it turned out great. The room was really nice and in a prime location. The staff were all super friendly. The pool and hot tub were great. The hotel is walkable to the beach and tons of restaurants and shopping. We were there for a quick girls trip and it was perfect. I would definitely stay there again!

Our room had missing parts like handles in the kitchen and the toilet was inestable not properly installed also we never were able to use the TV’s the WiFi never worked this hotel is pet friendly but they for the first time make us pay $50 per day

The place is good but it's complicated find the pool and the room Specially if your room is b,c or d And the rooms are not clean good Sorry but is the true

I understand that this area was hit hard by a hurricane several months ago and if they had been transparent about it, that would have been much more acceptable but they don’t warn you about this. The weather, the beach and the town made the stay acceptable as they are stunning but there is construction everywhere. There is storm debris still waiting to be cleared and picked up. Our “cottage” was a room down a hallway in, what used to be, a large house. The balcony had no railing and we were told to “just don’t go out there.” There was wires and cables attached up a telephone pole that looked like a third world country. Our doors to the balcony would not lock. The railing to the stairs to walk out front were covered in black mold, there was dirty socks on the deck and the rock “yard” along with some broken patio furniture and broken toys. There was also a mattress laying there for the first night though it was removed the next day. There was a kitchenette in the room but the dishwasher smelled so bad that I ran it empty hoping to fix the smell… it didn’t. There was a cutting board, which we turned over, and it was covered in mold. As for the staff, it is advertised that beach towels are included in the rental, we went to the office to request towels around 930 and were told that they did not have any but would call us when they got some from laundry. We received a call almost 2 hours later. We had already gotten our own towels. Stay inland and visit the beach!

We liked that it is walking distance to the beach and The Siesta Village! Very nice and would definitely stay here again!

I camp quite a bit. So, the unit was fine. Its like John Candy in summer vacation movie. We just laughed. Walk to beach and restaurants and shops. If your looking for the Hilton. This isn't it. Two person. Not too concerned about much but a bed and a shower it's good. Full fridge and oven microwave. WiFi good. It's camping... Not a resort. All in all. We had fun. Definitely not for families with kids.
