Overall, we were pleased with our stay at the hotel, despite the heavy rain. The staff was attentive. Upon arrival, we received a complimentary drink, and a fruit platter awaited us in our room, which was a very nice touch. The grounds are beautiful and spacious, with a great pool and pleasant rooms. The room has a separate shower and toilet. The beds and pillows aren't very comfortable. There are no blankets, only sheets. Most of the outlets in the room are old-style, and adapters don't fit. Meals: Dinner and breakfast are buffet-style. The selection is decent; not everything is delicious, but you can find something to eat and not go hungry. We also had lunch included, à la carte. It was delivered on the day of departure, as we didn't have time for it on the day of arrival. We really enjoyed the lunch; the food was served restaurant-style, and the portions were generous. We were very satisfied. Excellent value for money. Special thanks to the SAMALKA manager for resolving all issues and for the memorable gift at the end!

I liked the hotel for its swimming pool and neat buildings. The rooms have wooden doors to the balcony; on the first floors the balconies lead directly to the pool. We bought 2 dinners for 3600 rupees per person. On the first day, the food was not particularly tasty - everything was spicy, I only liked the fried eggplants and desserts. For the second dinner, the food tasted better, but the desserts weren't great. Of the fruits, as in all hotels in Sri Lanka, there were watermelons, pineapples and papaya. There was no cheese at breakfast, which is sad. We saved ourselves with an omelette. The worst thing is coffee from bags. For a hotel at this price it is unacceptable. Cocktails cost 1800 rupees, small and weak. On the first day they said that they don’t serve alcohol at all on the full moon holiday. I can recommend the hotel for 1-2 nights. Convenient location, large rooms, nice pool.

Hi , the property is good. Staff is friendly. We being vegetarian, we were icon dated with good special care for us on food. Additional items were served for us to ensure we have vegetarian to eat. Ishan was kind and helped us all through our stay for our food. Nice place enjoy during your stay

5/5 ⭐ Service is good. People here are so friendly and helpful. The manager and the workers were friendly. The place is so convenient for new tourists. Breakfast has a large variety. Near to all tourist place.
