DC Metro: Cozy 4BR Cottage on a Hill - Pets allowed

The home is lovely, in a nice location. Communication was great and it fit our needs well. One thing to note is that there are a lot of steps to the house so if you are traveling with people with mobility issues you want to be mindful of that. We enjoyed our stay.

This is probably the cleanest VRBO I've ever stayed in. It became a game for us to try to find a dirty spot. We never found one. When we first arrived, I had forgotten how to unlock the front door. Edward answered the phone on the 2nd ring and patiently walked me through the process. The decor is tasteful; the room layout is really good. Kitchen and bathrooms are well appointed - sharp knives, good coffee makers, hairdryers with multiple attachments for fluffing or smoothing. Comfy dog bed. Backyard is small but also very nice. Designed so it can be fenced off so the dog won't run off by accident. It's a lovely comfortable home - many thanks to the owner.

We had a lovely one week stay with 3 generations of our family! We made family meals in a very well appointed kitchen, had some fires on the patio & thoroughly enjoyed the home. The unit included everything we’d need while being away from home & plenty of parking too.

Very clean. Great kitchen and utensils, pots, pans, silverware. Beds are comfortable. Adequate tv options. Great towels and bed linens. Great location, close to DC METRO. Overall, I would rent again.Broken, busted seat bottoms on all back patio chairs, not usable.One of the 2 chairs at the breakfast nook had a bent, unstable leg. There is no sugar, sweetener or additive items for coffee, and no coffee pods.Big overhead light in upstairs bathroom is out. There is no computer or printer.There is no gym or fitness equipment.They leave you very, very little to do at check out, almost nothing, which is nice compared to many places that practically want you to clean the entire house.

I can’t say enough about how great this property is. The parking is great. It has the charm of an older property but it’s been renovated and one will want for nothing when they stay there. The laundry facilities are brand new. Both bathrooms are renovated. Kitchen is extremely well stocked with new appliances - there is an excellent espresso maker.Great value, highly recommend!

Edward was very quick and easy to communicate with. The house was spacious. Inside was very clean. Hike up the stairs were steep and some of the stones were wobbly. I maybe missed this in the listing, but my parents who are older had a hard time. I did share with Edward the outside had trash left around and the back patio chairs were very worn and not able to be used. He proceeded to tell me the last tenant had a big party and trashed the place. We didn’t arrive until 5pm. I would have thought that was plenty time to get the trash under control. Beds were comfortable. Great location to DC and downtown Silver Springs. Quiet and safe area.

We really enjoyed our week at this home! The host was incredibly welcoming and maintained excellent communication from start to finish, which set the tone for a comfortable stay. The home itself was spotless!! It was immaculately maintained and clearly cared for with intention. Every space felt fresh. The sheets and towels were pristine white and smelled wonderful! The kitchen and kitchenware were and thoughtfully prepared, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. My favorite part was having three different options for preparing coffee in the morning!Overall, the atmosphere was inviting, comfortable, and clean! We loved our time at this home and would not hesitate to return or recommend it to others!

The house was wonderful. It was clean, comfortable, near a lot of things and had a lot of space. The host was kind an responsive, and this will definitely be a home we'll recommend to everyone. Thank you!
