"Overall disappointing experience. One of the elevators was down so each going to the room implied waiting on a line. Our shower was broken and soaked our clothes and towel in water. In the evening we wanted to have dinner at the restaurant and though it was 1/3 occupied they told us it's full and that the waiting time would be 45 min or more (On a Saturday evening). The staff didn't seem to be worried by the guests experience even though we clearly expressed it on our check out."

"Great family hotel. It's been years that I haven't seen a silimar setup. Beautiful spaces, nice materials from the construction,decorations, till the cutlery. The rooms are wide, clean and well lit. Up in the corner of the hill, giving quite time and privacy, but walking distance from the city. Very rare to see all the staff being genuinly politeand accommodating. The breakfast has everything in moderation, without creating unnecessary wasting food. All local, handmade and super fresh. If fed up of fake fancy, this is an experience you need. Tania, Greece"

"Recent hotel with large common spaces and spacious rooms. Good location, 5 minutes walk from the restaurants street. A seafront. Beach 200 meters away. Outdoor and indoor swimming pool. All very clean, very good breakfast. Garage covered with several loading stations for electrical equipment. Excellent"

"We spent a night in this Monte. The location was very good with excellent views of the sea and sunset. The place is very well cared for and has lots of activities available. The room and bathroom were well equipped and clean. The staff was always around and ready to help. Breakfast and dinner were both well prepared. We spent time by the pool and really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend to stay here if you want to just relax or visit the area."

For those who want to connect more with nature, they even have a Tipi tent and a wooden cabin. The breakfast offer is an entire range of local products of outstanding quality, and the details here are even prettier. Having your morning coffee on a patio full of trees provides a divine balance between the sunlight and a pleasant shadow. Not to mention the impeccable taste for every detail, from the food styling to their beautiful clutter. I take this place with me as a precious gem of the Alentejo region."

"I'm absolutely blown away, what a amazing experience here. I was greeted with a free upgrade to an apartment. All staff, front of house, breakfast team and housekeeping were beyond helpful and friendly. The team member on reception when I was leaving even offered me a free coffee. The apartment was spotless and beautiful traditional decor, pool was so great too. The location is so quiet and peaceful."
