Holiday Inn Hotels in Singapore

I enjoyed my stay overall. However, on the day of checkout, I had an unpleasant experience with one of the front desk staff members. He seemed quite moody and did not allow me to finish explaining my request before immediately declining it. I had simply asked whether a late checkout until 12:00 PM (instead of 11:00 AM) would be possible, but the request was not accommodated. While I understand that late checkouts may not always be available, I would have appreciated a more courteous and professional response.

Great service from front office reception. Gave me a detailed walk thru on what are the services available to me. After I checked into my room, there is even a call to my room to ensure that all was well. However, notice some ants in the bathroom which was surprising. Other than that, it has been a great overall experience.

I spent a long time looking for a hotel in Singapore this time, but couldn't find one that really caught my eye or had unique features. I finally settled on this Holiday Inn, which is part of the IHG group. I've stayed at Holiday Inns in Shanghai, Xi'an, and Kuala Lumpur before, and their domestic properties usually have excellent facilities and dining experiences. However, this Singapore location is quite different. It primarily provides a bed for the night, meaning you'll need to go out for all your meals and other amenities. It's more of a practical, functional place to stay rather than a luxurious or high-end hotel. The good news is that the hotel's location is very convenient, with easy access to both buses and the MRT.
