I recently stayed at Mercure ICON Singapore City Centre and accidentally left my phone in a taxi. I was incredibly stressed, but thanks to the diligent and kind assistance of Sandra Tay at the front desk, my phone was successfully recovered. Sandra went above and beyond to help me track it down; her professionalism and genuine care made all the difference. I am so grateful for her help and for the warm hospitality I experienced throughout my stay. Thank you, Sandra—I truly appreciate such a wonderful experience! Great location right in the heart of Chinatown with easy access to MRT stations, restaurants, and nightlife. The hotel is modern, clean, and convenient for both business and leisure trips. Rooms are a bit compact, but very comfortable and well designed for Singapore standards. Staff were friendly and the breakfast selection was good. Overall, a great stay and I would definitely come back again. The hotel is especially praised for its central location, cleanliness, and convenience for exploring Singapore.

Good location, walking distance to Chinatown MRT and Maxwell MRT. Can walk to Lau Pa Sa. Room size is small but location wins.

Good location - hotel was near 3 metro stations all in easy walking distance. Note however best to get off at Telok Ayer for a quick commute to hotel. Closest Chinatown Exit H is not linked to Exits A-F which are the main exits to Chinatown Point etc. Cleanliness - noted stains on the new bedsheets. Room size is on the smaller side but the view was very nice Recommend the hotel to install AC in their elevators especially for those who are especially staying on a high floor.
