I was disappointed with my stay.
Before my arrival, I requested a room with a decent view because I booked the hotel well in advance. Unfortunately, I was given a room facing a wall. I knew the room would be small, but it was even smaller than I expected.
The lighting in the room was extremely dim. Even with every light turned on, the room still felt dark, especially in the evening.
The shower gel, shampoo, and hand soap all appeared to be the same product poured into different containers, which was quite disappointing.
The soundproofing was poor. The walls were very thin, and I could easily hear noise from neighboring rooms. There were also frequent food smells coming into my room, including the strong smell of durian and other fruits.
One day I was given a dirty towel, and the shower hose was rusty. Because of the very small shower area or its poor design, the water drained very slowly.
The hairdryer in my room was broken, and even the design of it was very inconvenient. You have to keep holding down the switch the entire time while drying your hair, which quickly makes your hand tired.
The hangers were also inconvenient to use.
The reception and lobby were often overcrowded with tourists. There were very few seats available, so when waiting, there was usually nowhere to sit.
Overall, my experience did not match my expectations, and I don't think the hotel offered good value for the price.
